The export versions of the SU-30 (mki,mkm and mka) have modifications made by Thales (French) and Elbit (Israeli). These modifications were made to meet the buyers’ requirements; they are unique variants.
Let’s also remember that the SU30SM was based on the MKi, not the other way around.
Russia isn’t the only one going through this situation; take the F-15E case for example. The F-15EX only exists because the export versions of the F-15E started to become better than those of the United States itself, such as the F-15K, F-15I, F-15SG, and F-15S.
The SU30 MKM is an incredible addition, stop crying.

but atleast the best F15 is still in the US TT. do u think people would be ok if japan got F15SG ? (f15 with aesa radar + F15ex’s engine) ?

Yep, the while EX program comes after boeing made the QA (qatari version), and to a lesser extend the SG.
In fact, the F15i has more countermeasures; if we take that into account, it becomes better.
Don’t confuse the best f15E with the best f15C.
Japan has even modernized its F-15J fleet to standards very close to the Golden Eagle; it’s only a matter of time before Japan has the best F-15 again.
Edit: To this day, Germany has the best MiG-29 and nobody complains, to this day Sweden has the best Leo II and nobody complains.

The SMT has a signifigantly better A-A & A-G kit, and every single avionic is improved
But the MiG-29G’s flight performance is infinitely better than the SMT’s, plus it’s the only MiG-29 with an R73 nonFOX3.
F15EX with 16x missiles +EPAWSS + (best radar on f15) will sht on every other f15

really? let me expand it to vehicles instead of just “aircrafts” and direct you to leopards. Sweden has 3 much better armored leopards than germany (its “original manufacturer”) and if you feel like saying “oh but thats Strv122 not a quote on quote leopard” then just look towards hungarian 2A7VHU.

I infact am very happy and welcome Su30MKM for japan with Kh38s. Not just because japan CAS was lackluster with Gripen being the only real CAS plane and the F2A only having LJDAMs which are kinda subpar with so many new SPAAs, but also due to the fact that too many people defend Kh38MTs and how actually “not powerful” they are, well now that its going to be on more than just one nation i am personally very curious how long this sentiment is going to remain alive.
Until now the only time russia would fight russia in top tier was in mixed battles and those only happen if you have a mixed squad of 3 or 4 players. MKM will finally level the playing field. For the team thats fighting russian and japanese team nothing much will change, they will still have to fight Su30s as they did prior. But for russia when japan isnt going to be on their side, they will now have to actually contest with missiles that arent mavericks or hammers flying at snails pace.

The best F-15 will be 100% biased at this point.
F-15E/I are best in short-timed high altitude BVR.
F-15C GE is best in long matches.
F-15JM is best in weapon options.
And depending on peoples’ preferences and playstyles, any of these will be worse for them than the other.
Either way, the Su-30MKM is a unique Su-30.
su30mkm has the same weapons as su30sm but it gets 360* maws/lws. so it will be much better in grb against smokeless sams , much better in sim. its straight up better.
i would say maws is a pretty big advantage in grb/sim.

its still not in service. but they may copy paste F15EX but atleast it will be the same.
Cry cry cry imagine another nation getting good CAS. Also the Japanese does not get TV engines so it’s worse in that regard.
