Plus it was built off of stolen T-10K documents and improved 10 fold.
Same sorta story with J-16, it was based off of twin seater Su-27UBK instead of Su-30MKK.

su35 will probably be the best flanker in bvr unless they add ecm/more features for aesa radar.

j15 the 14.3 or even 15.0 fighter with what 42 CMs ? J15 will struggle (especially in air rb) but j16 will be one of the best.
All SU30s derived from the MKi have TVC, this includes MKA and MKM.
Yeah, I agree, while I’m not too happy about it the Indo Su-30 is the best of a lot of bad options.

Su-30 and kh-38s were never a problem for me, generally it’s a flying shitbox, but it’s just hateful to see Japan getting what it shouldn’t get
You are aware the initial MKIs are Russian upgrades right? Which is the same aircraft the SM is based on.
Funny enough Russia can also get the MKI, maybe even with the same Indian weapons since Gaijin loves to do that.

again, this stopped being a thing years ago. And people literally bitching about uniqueness were silent when leopards were added to other nations, F16s, F18s and F15s added to other nations, etc. etc.
every single one of these “SU30 SHOULDNT GO TO JAPAN” posts are basically all just motivated by people being afraid of facing that shit ingame. Because if they actually cared about uniqueness they would have piped up during the previous major updates where copy paste or better versions of already existing weapon systems got added to different nations than the “original manufacturer”

I find it very funny how players from the main nation react when another nation receives their aircraft.
When Japan received the Gripen, the Swedish main said, “Welcome, brother.”
Japan receives the SU30, the main Russian says, “Please stop, gaijin, you’re killing the game.”
Japan receives an F-18D, the main US “why doesn’t the United States also have an F-18D :(”
