Simple as the titles states, spotted vehicles should be removed from the map as soon as the tank that spotted these vehicles is eliminated.

This is not only necessary because it is more realistic and makes intuitively more sense, but also because the current system can be easily abused. A light tank, Type 93 for example, can just run around the map, try to scout as many people as possible for its teammates and if it gets killed, these markings still remain giving its team quite the advantage.

Why? The map is updated due to new information irrelevant of who or what gave that information.Once the general whereabouts of a vehicle in on the mini map it stays for a certain amount of time then fades.That is why you can re scout the same vehicle.

Yeah… no. “Scouting” represents reports sent by the vehicle to “HQ” or over the radio. So that information doesn’t just disappear if the scout is destroyed.
Most WT players don’t seem to bother looking at the minimap also.
