No, those boats fall under number 2- Purchased vehicles intended for service.
Soyuz, Z47, etc are higher than trial vehicles, which are higher than prototypes.

My post is not Gaijin’s standards [though it coincides with their standards], or my own personal preferences; The 1 - 7 list is specifically the process of a vehicle’s development.
Paper to service.
If you start at 7 you start at the schematic phase of vehicle development.
It’s an objective standard that I have no opinion on, but use because it’s how vehicles are made.
I think that you should have realised by now that Gaijin doesn’t want realistic Chinese vehicles…

Yea definitely. There are no Chinese MBT with a 6.5 sec reload paired with good enough armor

No. But by the looks of it it is better than any current Chinese MBT in game

Ok what’s so special about this oplot? It literally just a ru style vehicle that could reverse, it’s almost similar to the chinese ztz and vt4 except it’s worse because it has even less gun depression than t-90a? Only part is the turret armor but can’t use it when you pretty much have to exposed your entire hitbox to shoot lol
It’s not I promise. The ZTZ99 series is leagues ahead of it.
Have you played any of the Chinese vehicles? They have worse armor, firepower and is similar to speed to the oplot. I don’t see why you think that the oplot is worse than the Chinese MBTs. The Chinese tanks are easily one of the worse tanks in game

I have it, it’s a terrible vehicle in terms of armor, and its ammunition isn’t all that great either, it feels like a worse sidegrade to the T-80U you’ll find yourself being one shotted 8/10 times.
So the oplot would be better then
That’s not what I’m saying.
There is a big difference between prototypes, to which nation put a lot of effort, time, money, which actually represents the tech of said nation and vehicles of other nations which were not even leased or captured, but just trialed.
If anything the flag for this Oplot should be Ukrainian, since it represents their vehicle.
Oplot is literally worse in every aspect compared to Chinese mbt’s (ztz-99a variants), but if you would compare it to the vt4 (non-aps), then yeah the vt4 would be worse than the oplot.
Tell me what ZTZ99A has other than mobility

99A have better armor (frontally), better round but less reload, better gun depression, better vertical. However, I also am looking forward to the Oplot being added to China, it’s going to be fixed eventually, so it’s like an investment.

It’s not a “Chinese tech tree getting better” problem, it’s a “this particular vehicle has no business being in that particular tree” problem.
China has nothing to do with the Oplot. Pakistan trialed it, and decided against it and bought VT-4s instead.
Adding vehicles that have only been trialed was a huge mistake when they did it with Sweden, it is a mistake now and it’ll continue to be a mistake for multiple reasons:
First, it makes tech trees less unique. Adding the Oplot to China robs the Japanese tech tree of the only unique vehicle added through the Thai subtree. It only lasted one update.
Secondly, it can lead to completely absurd situations:
- Sweden could get the Abrams and Leclerc
- Israel could get the Abrams, Leclerc, Challenger 2, T-80U and Object-478DU5 through Greece once it’s added as a subtree
- France could get the Eurofighter, Gripen and Super Hornet through the BeNeLux subtree
- Sweden could get the Rafale, Eurofighter and Super Hornet through the Finnish subtree
- Germany could get the Rafale, Gripen and Super Hornet through the Swiss subtree
At this point, what’s the point of having multiple trees? You might as well give everything to everyone and just let the player choose which flag and voice lines languages they want for their vehicle.
If the Chinese tree has issues, it shouldn’t be solved by giving it random vehicles with extremely tenuous link to China, even more so when that makes other trees less unique.
The flood of Leopard 2s and T-80s is already bad enough, we really don’t need to make it even worse.
