Stop adding more Swedish T-80Us and other trialed vehicles. Sweden was meant to be the exception and a huge exception when they even get a king tiger and a mi-28 they shouldn’t have had. Now the Oplot-P Pakistan only trialed and never actually adopted. China already has a high tier squadron, the VT-5, meanwhile many other nations are still missing squadron vehicles at places. This is nothing but lazy copy paste that’s taking the slippery slope even further down on what can be added.

Funny enough, if they actually model the Oplot-P correctly, it would be a unique variant, so it wouldn’t even really be copy paste

Why not? How many would like USA to get a T-80 or a Type 69 through Iran? Also the CN TT doesn’t need it when they have plenty of other options and they’re already getting an abrams from Taiwan on top of that.

They did actually trial the exact same one.
Why don’t you think about why Oplot-P was added? It’s because some “American” players are dissatisfied with a certain vehicle to replace TT in China. If that certain vehicle could join, I believe Pakistan’s Oplot-P wouldn’t have been launched. By the way, I haven’t felt dissatisfied or uncomfortable with the US joining Iran’s 69 (yes, different from some double labeled guys). If it really came out, I think it would be very interesting because American players would hold their noses and run back to play their TT with more OP vehicles

I think Oplot is an interesting tank that deserves to be present in War Thunder as widely as possible.
Ideally and hopefully some day they will fix the armor as well.

What’s “better” when the whole Chinese side fiasco was started by wanting indigenous vehicles and bug fixes. This is anything but, it’s lazy copy paste of a vehicle Pakistan never owned. Also gaijin never denied the M1A2. My biggest issue with this is that trialed additions are stupid when it opens the door for too many vehicles for nations where they shouldn’t be. Sweden didn’t need a T-80 and China definitely doesn’t need a T-84 even from an availability perspective, of how many vehicles that could be added to fill their tree.

In game the P is a copy of the T model (for now hopefully), my point is that the P is a model made specifically for Pakistani trials, there are also unique Oplot variants used for Malaysian trials and another variant tested thoroughly by the US. I can’t remember the exact details but this wouldn’t be copy paste as the P variant is different from the Ukrainian, American, Thai and Malaysian models.

If they’re too lazy to fix the armor, they for sure as hell aren’t gonna make another model for the Pakistan T-84. Also a fucking squadron? Should be an event at best so trialed vehicles like these don’t appear often.
It is still Dev server so hopefully it will be rectified (otherwise I’ll eat my words).

King tiger was added to replace the KV-1B since Finland was locked out of giving a useful heavy tank. So dont try to lump that logic in there. The T80 U though had no reason except the snail figured they would get money from players trying to GE both the MI-28 and T80 together
This is the Oplot M, in game it’s modeled as Oplot T which is still a bit different.
And on top of that neither are the Oplot P, which is what Gaijin was trying to add. It’s a unique tank built to Pakistani specifications.
