Remove M51

Missed the point 3 times.

There’s no excuse that would convince me SU-122-54 absolutely has to be at 6.7, when T-54 1951 is at 8.0.

I think I know what you would like to see from this game because I would like to see it too but sadly it is never going to happen and Gaijin are just moving further and further away from what so many players want in so many areas.
Real immersion in this game is an opportunity missed.It is what makes WT a good game but not a great game.

The Post war garbage mixed with WW2 is here to stay.The pixels shaped as tanks is as good as it gets.
Only way now is to just see the game as a set of pixels firing at a set of pixels.Just try and get a good score and forget the rest.If you want anything resembling a WW2 or era specific game then drop down to below 5 like so many have done.It is all you can do and hope the idiot devs leave you alone down there.I am sure they wont.

Angleing your tiger can prevent that. The angled pen isn’t even good enough to go through a panther UFP, let alone an angled Tiger I.

It should be 6.0 at most. Both the AMX-13 and '54 EBR should be 6.3 too.

Doomer mentality is walking away ,optimism is hanging in there and trying to enjoy it as much as you can.
I do think Gaijins chief needs to swing the axe big time but then I have not read his profit margins for this quarter.

Autoloading 75mm with 200mm of solid shot pen is too strong at 6.0 imo.
EBR maybe, I don’t know how mobile it currently is, but AMX-13 is a good scout tank. You have scouting ability for a reason, you don’t have to kill all opponents easily. AMX-13 could go to 7.0.

With the current style of balancing of “everything must kill everything frontally” heavy tanks should get artillery and lower spawn cost, while light tanks should lose the scouting ability.

Edit: Of course I mean AMX-13 with SA50, not the FL11.

The armor is worse and the gun is worse (far faster reload, extremely similar penetration values, still one shots very reliably).

But M10’s gun at 3.3 isn’t insane.

Fair enough, I didn’t know that even long 88 can pen it. I just assumed it’s about the same as T-54’s upper plate.

The gun is still plenty good for it to be at least at 7.7. I imagine 122mm HEAT shell has much more post pen damage, as I do notice a big difference between 105mm HEAT on Leo1 and 120mm HEAT on Leo 2PL in test drive.

The M51 Plays at 7BR much of the time as it is.It has no real CAS or SPAA at it’s own BR and until very recently any other addition to the tree took it up to 6.7.

You essentially have to play the thing on it’s own multiple times to get anywhere with Israel so if you are on a map that does not suit then then tough news for you.

I see you have only played 1 battle as Israel in GRB. Don’t you think you should really play the M51 a few time before calling for it to leap up in BR ?

Play fifty games then tell us what you think and show us how you seal clubbed everybody.

I don’t care about the the grind. It’s an artificial problem created by Gaijin, that shouldn’t impact vehicle balance.

But you haven’t played the M51.

I’ve spaded it and played some games after too.

The only good thing about the m51 is its gun. If anything someone could say the m51s gun is overpowered in the br but other than that it’s not a good tank, it’s mobile is bad ( I’ve seen tiger 2s pass me) the lack of stabilization makes it impossible to shoot on the move and terrible in cqc ( I once turned a corner and saw a tiger and shot while my gun was moving up and down ( because if I wouldn’t have shot I would have died) and shot half a second to late and my shot completely missed and I got killed ) last the armor is of the m4a1 which has very bad armor ( I’ve been one shot many times from across the map)

It doesn’t matter why the grind exists. Gaijin implemented it and it exists so we have to deal with it

But it has a Sherman chassis.

It’s mobile, but good luck doing anything if an enemy sees you, the gun handling and platform are terrible.

Bad take. My hot take is that it kinda sucks at 6.7, because it has 0 redeeming qualities outside of its reload. Gaijin designs maps for maximum frontal engadgements which leads to feeling helpless against many enemies.

True but in my opinion the amx is not that good in 6.7 and would be better in 6.3
