Remove M51

The Maus was also removed from the TT because it was impossible to balance. All that armor and gun still meant alot despite nearly no mobility.

The M-51 is nowhere near on the same level. Absolute slow, unwieldy, tall glass cannon with a dice roll shell.

Provided you don’t fail the dice roll on pen.

More like a dice roll where you will aim. Despite having so much pen and having the ability to pen all tanks everywhere you need to aim well to quickly kill opponents, shocking right?

HEAT shells are very RNG, and I do not think you understand that.

The Strv m/40’s APDS is garbage. Nonexistent postpen damage.

Also the PT-76 when stock is just sad. It is alright at 5.0.

It does matter when you’re trying to survive in general. A single shell hit can obviously mean life or death. Either all your crew gets wiped out or that armour can save your life. With the M-51’s RNGish nature the T-34-85 can just pray it strikes the corner of its hull and do nothing.

Yeah, and that shit only has about 100mm of pen.

All these conversations start because of one thing . German mains who get killed by a m51 and can’t stand their “ superior German armor “ get wrecked by a upgraded Sherman

Almost like HEAT isn’t as OP as you’re trying to claim it is!

Much shock! Such real! So obvious! Wow.

Thanks for dismantling your own piss-poor argument, not that we needed your help to begin with.

I mean, I said it earlier in the thread but a repeat of the truth never hurts.

Could NOT agree more. Always a stressful way of entertainment (oxymoron) watching them seethe here in the forums arguing that.

Don’t forget - EVERYTHING that uses " Post-WW2 " ammo would have to go up no matter what it is.

Blud forgets that HEAT technology was active during WW2 and that APDS and HEATFS were being actively tested and developed during…

You guessed it, WW2.

Blud claiming historical accuracy but doesn’t know much of anything. Pure audacity.

Wait until he uses the amx 30 gun argument again

I have the prem AMX-30 and boy it’s a real slog to use.

And on the other side there are people who can’t stand the thought of slow well armored tanks being actually good and work as intended. They see them as tanks for dumb people who want to be invincible, while minor nations and rare and historically weak or simply small tanks are played by truly smart and better human beings, not these vile, dumb major nations fans.

Because all lightly armored tanks require skill, unlike heavy tanks. You truly need to be skillful in shooting at miserably slow and big tanks with awkward responsiveness using ammo that nullifies their sacrifices for armor from a spawn camping position on the flank.

Yes of course. You truly think I’m just a German main and simply want Germany to be the best, don’t you.

I’m sorry to be the one telling you this but the only people that complain about the m51 are German mains. The thing is heavy tanks don’t really function as intended and end up being cannon fodder (edit: that’s a problem that has nothing to do with the m51) but that’s no reason to remove a tank from the game

Then what TT do you use most?

My highest BR in tanks is in German tech tree is 9.0, 7.7 in USA and 7.3 in USSR and 6.0 in UK. In planes my highest BR is 13.7 in USA, 7.0 in Germany, 8.7 in USSR (9.3 soon) and 6.7 in UK.
