I do agree the wiesel is better because of its very good scouting ability, but the luchs? Absolutely not. You can pen almost nothing at that br.
The Luchs is another story, but its still more mobile than the BTR
They’re both 7.3 (Luchs and Wiesel) and have around 57-61mm of pen depending on the shell you use and a very fast ROF (along with 400 round of ammo for wiesal and 500 rounds of ammo for Luchs).
They can carry multiple APDS belts whilst the BTR can carry only one belt (150 rounds out of a total of 300 rounds; 1 out of 2 belts max) of APDS and the BTR has an anemic fire rate.
BTR-80A is more than capable.

Have you ever played any nato 25mm/30mm? 330 is not a bad fire rate (especially with the btr’s decent pen).

This has nothing to do with the Luchs, wiesel or BTR-80 at all…
They can, but sure. You just have to flank and kill the enemy’s light tanks, or medium tanks if you’re facing Germany (weak side armour). The same goes for the BTR-80.

A light vehicle designed to transport infantry and fight other infantry makes very little sense in War Thunder, it’s just there for filler and making the grind longer for players.
Also I never claimed any skill issues on anyone’s part, reading comprehension isn’t your forte, it seems.

Ok sure, but you can knock out modules and aim for weakspots, yes? The luchs and wiesel are much more maneuverable compared to the BTR, so you can just shoot them through the engine deck.

So is the BTR-80. You grind it by scouting and capturing points, not getting kills
Estoy muy de acuerdo contigo, me gustaría también que se pueda llevar las dos cintas de munición de la buena ya que la única munición “decente” es muy escasa y te gastas la mitad en romper una oruga como mínimo.

So what tanks don’t have weakspots then?
Sense we have auction’s, think infantry will be close behind for tank’s to use/Knock out?
We’d at least get a better purpose for the infantry fighting vehicles.
