I won’t deny it, when they get to spawncamping, they have an open field to shoot at us, whereas they have a hill when we need to shoot at them but I might as well be wrong here.

I have to agree, as much as I hate Gaijin forcing people into CQC maps, this map is a bad example of how to do an open map. There’s nearly no cover aside from the middle, the right side is far more open compared to the left side and flanking towards the top is risky as hell due to terrain most of the time not covering flanks, making flanking after the game start (or even during that) a literal suicide. The top flank is also incredibly abusable and whoever holds it can easily win the match. Either add more covers where there’s a complete lack of and/or make the terrain a bit more uneven to be able to hide vehicles from the right side aswell and to make vehicles be able to utilize their depression/turret armor.
You can always get a Gaijin fix where only parts of the map that you will be able to move from will be like C, D, E. Rest will be out of battle
its bad but i love it and all the versions of it because china isnt at a horrible disadvantage all the time

Also this is one of the extremely few maps with few flanking routes.
West spawn has much better spots to watch north and south flank and positions to camp there. Getting up north on East spawn is a dice roll if they have snipers just outside their spawn watching it which have much better cover than doing the same on the other side, and south flank only has sightlines for a losing match so you have to be aggresive and fight through their side south.
If i had a choice id always play West.
Not saying its unwinnable but a lot of maps have better sides to play on for sure.
Better idea: Remove hurtgen from the game altogether.

You haven’t found the sight lines toward the west yet then. They exist, just around where B cap point is on the lower BR versions of the map, as well as near spawn.
so true ive lose more on east side than north side
north side has such nasty sniping advantage and coverage advantage
the only time where you would lose is team skill issue

left spawn is north and right is east
Ohhhh, okay. Nope, the compass ain’t helping it should technically be east and west.
It needs some minor adjustments to give both sides the same small cover and positions perhaps. The hill should stay but also be risky to reach for a few seconds for both sides if you don’t hug the map walls and take extra time to get there. Otherwise this game truely becomes a straight up just front on front slug fest and no flanking will be left, which would be sad.
While they are at it they can also remove the trash advance to the rhine, japan and the new greece map.
Oh and Breslau, so i can ban sinai.
Rhine is the ultimate short range map design… Just look at all other maps and laugh at their open areas and still non-existing longer range
