Far too many times have I physically slammed a 1,000lb bomb against an enemy tank, it lands like 3 ft away, and somehow doesn’t even let alone destroy the enemy tanks tracks.
Meanwhile I seen 1,000kg bombs destroy closed top tanks from across house block things on Sweden.
Bombs are a mess rn in Warthunder, but it’s not intentional rng unlike arty.
That’s why I say Gajin just shouldn’t even try to make arty realistic. There’s plenty of features limited to certain tanks, e.g scouting, as they’d be almost completely useless otherwise.

That’s just multiple people dropping arty on the point to scare you away from capping it or they’re really interested to see if they can get you briefly marked. I’ll sit through artillery any day of the week because I can count the number of times I died to it on two hands.

I would like to see the opportunity to drop a smoke barrage, instead of HE.
People have smoke shells they never use.I have no idea why.
I have won games single handedly by using smoke to get to a cap nobody else could take then live long enough to capture it.
I am not saying I am in anyway a good player,I am simply saying how useful smoke can be in some situations yet nobody seems to bother with it.
I use it. I carry smoke shells, too. There are plenty of times when smoke would be more useful than HE, too.

The Voice/Radio mod couvert had voice lines from several other games and/or movies, plus explicit/vulgar language for more realism inside the tank.

Actually, with drones in the game, you ‘can’ do that with our proper vehicule or squad mates. Overall, there’s a possibility in the future to see a such mechanism, but we need larger and more complex maps and not like the blockades of zones like in many maps in the game.
Maybe in Simulator battle, like Enduring Confrontation in a tank mode, this could be ‘interesting’. Still, we’ve to wait for the (near) future and I don’t particularly like TheEuropeanCanadian, but his video talks about it precisely:
