How’s it taken so many years for something this simple to actually be mentioned…
I commend you for your thoughtfulness…
Even if they don’t have to land, but to a ‘return to battlefield’ area that you put your plane far enough out from battle that you can ‘send it home’ and you can continue to respawn as a tank.
In fact I suggested it years ago, but some people said it was not fun to land the plane… seems there were lots of people that expected “realistic” battles to be only kamikaze mode. I still think is a nerf that affect only the most egregarious offenders, the people that want a revenge kill even in suicide format. It also preserves people that try to play CAS as it was intended to be played, a.k.a as CAS, not human guided missiles.
You’re rewarding them for already shooting fish in a barrel.
played a handfull of games since the patch, people are racing even faster to get into jets to get as many kills as possible to get that multiplier. In the last 2 matches, theres been opposing players get 10+ kills whilst playing aircraft using guided munitions beyond the range of spaa.
This is only your opinion, and no, they do not deserve to be excluded from this reward just because you can’t handle them in the match, because the reason you don’t like them is only because you died to them…
No reason to be all uptight because you called for the reward that’s been added into the gamemode, to be excluding that which you don’t like, when you can also spawn your own, or spawn SPAA.
You’re not in a barrel, and there’s no need to make out that anyone is anything which you don’t like just because they oppose your want.
Aircraft have much, much…much more room to space out.
It is, literally, the definition of shooting fish in a barrel.
Its not even realistic, if you want it more real, give tanks the same area to play in the aircraft do in the same match. Watch tank surviveability go up, along with the frustration of CAS players who cant kill them.
I dont mind the combined arms,
I hate the way gaijin has implemented it (very lazily) and rewards the root problem of a core gamemode.
The solution the guy suggested was quite valid to be honest… It’s not common for anyone in these threads to actually recommend a good method to fix a problem (lawndarts/kamikaze), other than to have people throwing out insults and abuse at being told that they need to be more aware and use the vehicles they have access to.
