I think considering Gaijin’s long-term deliberate nerfs to Chinese vehicles, the players’ emotions at that time were understandable. It’s true that there were quite a few so-called external forces mixed into the discussions back then, provoking Chinese players on platforms like YouTube or elsewhere. Most players are young, after all, and anyone can occasionally say something excessive in the heat of the moment, right?
It’s literally gaijins decision to release the vt4 right now because the Chinese only don’t want it released in September
there were quite a few chinese bringing constantly politics into this and switched to emotions when they ran out of argument since you couldnt argue against them without breaking clear tos(their emotional argumentation probably did also break tos).
Noone would be rlly pissed at some for delaying the vt4 for an unfitting timepoint(2nd september, was false info but still no big deal).
So it was a clear not from the loud chinese community on the vt4 threads.
Exactly what I tried to tell them in like 10 messages lol
atleast some which were involved in the convo. and some just didnt mind( wasnt here on the forums)
Yeah, the VT-4 in the China tech tree is a different model from the one in Thai service.
one in the game, the more recent demonstration model
They could just use this early VT-4 from the arms expo and call it a day, so they wouldn’t need to make a separate one for Thailand. But if Gaijin simply copy-pastes the current in-game model into the Thai tech tree, that would be lazy, because the Thai version is the mass-produced one.
This includes things like someone saying they’d invade my country by the end of 2025?
If they don’t represent you, then how can you represent them?
It is not that I am overly concerned with politics. Every form of publication, be it films, newspapers, or games, serves a propaganda function. Players, while engaging with a game, subconsciously absorb the ideologies embedded within. If a game were to contain content that is unfavorable to you, I imagine you would not remain silent about it.
you have to see if its unbalanced and then we can see what would be the smartest move to make it playable.
Yea many Chinese players don’t like go on the forums and go in tieba instead. But even on tieba most people don’t completely oppose the addition of the Vt4
Yes, just like the M1A2T joining the Chinese TT instead of the US TT.
the problem is this isnt really about politics, china has an already plethora of tanks that can be added domestically, but the issue with adding foreign stuff like VT4 to japan or M1A2T to china is, those vehicles kinda lose there heritage (unless its export variants specifically which dont count)
but china getting the M1A2T means the door is now open for any foreign vehicle because Taiwan has it which makes no sense, even ignoring the political state of china and Taiwan, china simply dont manage or operate the Taiwanese military so it just makes no sense when these are not exported to china but specifically exported to Taiwan for use.
Why don’t you all start a thread for the Vt4 instead of trying to take the abrams away from china? It’s a win-win if gaijin release a vt4 and Abrams
they should just add it and the roc flag. this would just remove most tensions in many forums. its much easier then to just add shit when you dont go for double standards. I think most copy paste stuff china could get will be less controversial. It wont simply fade away since gaijin just does copy paste and many do hate the decission.
Because the post will be hidden.
This is easy to understand, as they say: because we are both part of China and dogs raised by the United States.
There is no doubt about this matter. The Chinese purchased it with the approval of the U.S. government, and there is no questionable part in the entire process through which the Chinese acquired these tanks. Even if the PLA does not currently use these vehicles, they still belong to the Chinese. Gaijin has no issues with releasing this M1A2T.
So M1A2T to M1A2CH
I understand
