Removal of these vehicles caused japan to have extremely low winrate due to one death leaver fuji players. For the first time in WT history im praying for uptier while playing 12.7
Ho-Ri Production and Ho-Ri Prototype will be back in Avenger: Doomsday on December 18

So the solution was to remove those vehicles for new players but not old players.
A solution that achieves neither realism nor fairness.
Really smart move…
I wouldn’t even call that a true replacement. Ho-Ri’s were aggressor spearhead vehicles.
Ho-Ri’s were aggressor spearhead vehicles.
Only 2 natiosn actually MADE and fielded vehicles like that
and 3 more nations created protos - so yea, you aren’t getting the perfect replacement
Except there are actual perfect replacements. It’s called the Ho-Ri I, Ho-Ri II, and Ho-Ri III (a better-depicted version of the wooden mockup, which was likely one of the 5 incompleted) vehicles.
[image] Some months ago I made a simple and unfinished model of Chi-Ri while trying to learn how to use Blender a little bit. Yesterday morning I modified it to (sloped) Ho-Ri to try and explore its physical dimensions. It’s very basic because I’m a beginner, but nonetheless it conforms to the dimensions on the drawings. At the stage of the mockup, they had apparently not yet decided the gun depression solution, so I based the casemate on “Ho-Ri II.” I’ve determined that the roof bulge must h…

If these were realistic and all of honesty to come to the game, this is what they’d probably look like, and even then, this is just 2 of them. Another one would be this
->Real pictures, not whatever the heck Maiwaffentrager did.

Only one variant of 5 incomplete tanks was under production and it is mostly Ho-Ri II because for only this we have actual drawnings.
It can be said with certainty that the wooden model is not one of the five unbuilt vehicles. Because those tank were under construction as real ones not as models.
And it is true that actually built “Ho-Ri replacement” just didn’t exist lol especially with the fact that 50% of complete can mean that they only prepared all materials and only. (And afaik this “replacement” is not replacement as it can’t be on same BR)
I’m not sure they even made a mistake, I think they retroactively looked for an explanation. There was a point in time where I felt that War Thunder was a brilliant representation of armor, warships, and aircraft, but now I really do think they contribute significantly to misinformation, which is a shame

I still think it is the best place where you can SEE a huge variety of vehicles.

Well, I wasn’t planning on getting it, but on second thought… it’s the first time I’ve gotten 50% off something nice—funny how that works, lol.

Look nice
There is not 1 person here who is concerned or worried about what BR it is going on.
When the 3 fictional German vehicles were hidden in the game, the questionable replacements were not at the same BR either. So that is not a concern for us.
Also, your argument once again is contradictory to the questionable “partially built” statement Gaijin has for different vehicles.
Our problem is that there is information that they were partially built, and the information that is legitimate is enough to show that there are 3 examples that would need to be created and added to the game that serve all 3 functions that the Gaijin Ho-Ri once functioned in.
Which is->
Relying on Speed and Gun. Ho-R->I (Chi-Ri Chassis
Relying on Armor and Gun. Ho-Ri III (Closer to the Wooden Mockup in appearance but not quite, and is the aggressor)
Relying on Range and Gun. Ho-Ri II(Similar to a Jagtiger, so ranged aggression)
Point is the Ho-Ri was the weird Japanese aggressive tank that has come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass and is all out of Bubble Gum.
You must have used up all of your luck this month
Make sure to grind for the Production too in case you don’t have it!
Unfortunately, I’ve never really played the Japanese faction; I’m still quite far off, and with the naval event going on, I don’t have much time anyway.
At least I’ll have the premium version for the day I decide to grind that tree!
By the time you grind the tree, the Ho-Ri Product will be gone. Still shouldn’t, but then someone else made a whole suggestion about every single vehicle they hid, which has never gotten a response.
Why wasnt kh38 deleted for balance reasons? Have you played top tier against russia? Dont you think that the new pantsir + mi28 + kh38 + ARMs make russia unstoppable on toptier?
I’d be actually surprised if the Staff actually play the game long enough to understand our pain and why many of us get really annoyed, angered, or sometimes go to extremes to prove a point.
I think I had smin twice in my team in ARB but well none others
That’s surprising.
They very clearly do play the game. I ended up fighting both Schindibee and Stona doing the naval event in coastal a couple days ago. Watch BVVD on the Russian dev stream and it’s clear he plays it as well.
This whole “they don’t play their own game” is just a stupid meme that people parrot without ever questioning it.
