CAS players mad about SPAA endangering their rearm/repair point, meanwhile CAS has been spawn camping ground vehicles and bombing the teeny tiny little circles where they rearm and repair for literal years…

CAS is only now experiencing some of the things ground units had to deal with for years where their spawn/rearm points got used and abused without a single worry.
I’ll also use this opportunity to laugh at people who thought modern IR SAMs with great range wouldn’t totally take over the dominance from SACLOS ones. Now they’re getting killed in places where no SACLOS missile would come even close to them.
This is no different than gettin spawncamped due map design and it should be fixed.
Current IRIS-T can easily kill any plane that is on its airfield due to Bein so close to battlefield.
If you guys actually care about balance then airfield should be located far away from battlefield, at least 20km in this case.
But hey I guess having point and click spas system was more important then actual balance.
And don’t forget when HARM missiles added you guys once again will cry for balance while CAS will annihilate you easily.
Top tier airports can and should be moved further back.
That being said during the previous period of CAS dominance the most common answer to any complaint about CAS being OP was to spawn a plane and it was considered a legit answer by the CAS community because to them the game was balanced.
Well, what we have now is simply a karma.
And as such, spawning a tank is legitimate answer and counter to SLM.
SLM addition was completely fine, what’s not is airfield position.
If people wants balanced game then both side should have equal chance.
I’ve always said that CAS should be balanced, especially after addition of KH38’s but seems like people are here for revenge, not for balance.
That Bein said when SEAD is added SPAA players will once again complain a and cry.
People keep forgetting air superiority is far more important then ground, desert storm proved this in real life.

At best theres apathy.
But this is a game, not real life. Your crews dont have to go through several months long training to get certified to operate a vehicle. Your crews dont get pernamently deleted if your vehicle gets destroyed. Germany never fought alongside the US troops against the Brits and French. BTR-80A never engaged King Tiger in battle. Pzh2000 never fought in direct fire mode against M48 Pattons. Ground crews cant refuel and rearm F-15C as fast as pitstop crew can service a F1 racecar.
Remove those aspects, and many others i havent even named, and then we can talk about real-life being the main balancing factor.
Point is air will always be more important then Ground.
Who has the air will rule the battlefield, it’s been always like that.
As for revenge part this is endless circle, some patch SPAA’s will rule while other one CAS will be strongest again, especially with upcoming SEAD.
I don’t support people who blatantly defends CAS or SPAA’s but one thing for sure Bein out for revenge isn’t the way to balance this game.
But this is a game where people want to play tanks in ground battles.
Making air more important is just spitting in our faces for wanting to play tanks.
If you insist about real-life being the most important balancing factor, then i will advocate for gaijin to perma delete your account after you die in battle; after all you dont get to respawn in real life.
not even going to bother with this one until theres official announcement. Features and content that were datamined and/or leaked ages ago are not found in the game still; SEAD could come next patch, or three years down the line, it really depends just on gaijin.
It’s not a problem with the AAs it’s gaijins game/map design

Panther just said that he doesn’t support one-sided players, and he’s right. Gaijin should be a bit more considerated when adding new stuff, but they use physiological warfare to get you to rage quit and then try new premiums, which means more money for them. Don’t get too worked up about “CAS WaS BlAtAntLy Op, Now CaS PlAyErs HavE to SufFer☝️🤓”.
im not saying CAS should suffer. Im just describing what i observed to be a general sentiment about the whole issue.
I even said top tier airports should be moved further back.
My only jab at the whole issue is the “spawn a tank” thing.
this solution will never happen. they have to add a separate tank-only gamemode

If you have air superiority you can just rule the battlefield, if you can’t see this then it’s your problem.
