of course, game just uncorked what was essentially a bottle of rage champagne that has been violently shaken for what, two years?
of course most of them dont want to hear the “wheres the balance?” coming from group of people that did the abusing for two years straight.
its like when police finally catch the violentcriminal that was making hell out of people lives for a long time and he screams something about his human rights when he is being detained.
At best theres apathy.
But this is a game, not real life. Your crews dont have to go through several months long training to get certified to operate a vehicle. Your crews dont get pernamently deleted if your vehicle gets destroyed. Germany never fought alongside the US troops against the Brits and French. BTR-80A never engaged King Tiger in battle. Pzh2000 never fought in direct fire mode against M48 Pattons. Ground crews cant refuel and rearm F-15C as fast as pitstop crew can service a F1 racecar.
Remove those aspects, and many others i havent even named, and then we can talk about real-life being the main balancing factor.
But this is a game where people want to play tanks in ground battles.
Making air more important is just spitting in our faces for wanting to play tanks.
If you insist about real-life being the most important balancing factor, then i will advocate for gaijin to perma delete your account after you die in battle; after all you dont get to respawn in real life.
not even going to bother with this one until theres official announcement. Features and content that were datamined and/or leaked ages ago are not found in the game still; SEAD could come next patch, or three years down the line, it really depends just on gaijin.
Blud, you’re not making sense.
Panther just said that he doesn’t support one-sided players, and he’s right. Gaijin should be a bit more considerated when adding new stuff, but they use physiological warfare to get you to rage quit and then try new premiums, which means more money for them. Don’t get too worked up about “CAS WaS BlAtAntLy Op, Now CaS PlAyErs HavE to SufFer☝️🤓”.
It could get fixed, but only after ground units get their spawn killing issues fixed first. Priorities must be known and ground is waiting for this change for like a decade.
I mean, only now do ground units can do to air what air did to them for years.
I guess in that sense the balance has finally been established so no one is safe from spawn killing.
Also, I remember the words like “hide, evade, dodge, use solid cover, smoke” that were used by CAS players to “teach” ground players how to play around their constant spawn killing.
So, they could always break visual contact and fly around for long enough just to be sure they aren’t being followed by a missile before landing.
Don’t need to instill fear, I don’t doubt that CAS will soon get their crutch back yet again to be able to act with near impunity against ground vehicles, not like it has been like that for years now.
Both side wasnt balanced from the beginning, claiming this situation is balanced is nothing but revenge.
Missile can reach up to 25km under ideal conditions which is almost equal to map limitations, so no.
Not to mention IR munitions and targeting pod still doesnt acquire targets more than 15kms which means IRIS-T can effectively engage with enemy air units and kill them easily.
It can also engage with munitions which something planes cant do against IRIS-T.
