So I finally made my way to Rank VII using the J34 which was absolute pain, like toothpicks under your fingernails pain. I’m not wasting my time or energy using Sweden Rank VI aircraft anymore.
Between the two aircraft I’ve unlocked (Mig-21bis and J35D), which is better to complete the tree? I don’t know if the BR changes have made the J35 worth it or not since it doesn’t have flares. I’ve got about a 6 year deficit in skill that playing every day for almost 2 years hasn’t fixed so keep that in mind. Please don’t tell me to go back to a lower rank. I’m not dealing with the RP penalty.

MIG-21 Do not even try the J35D its pure pain. they nerfed it sooo hard its unusable

Honestly just use the Saab 105 or the j29A to grind rank VII, way less mind numbing to play them.

I don’t have any high rank sweden ( and i never will) but from what I’ve heard is that the J-35D gets sucked into uptiers vs all aspects missiles and, as the other said, sucks hard, except in the very rare and elusive downtiers.
I’d grind with the 21bis, I believe it’s still retained some consistency and can work when played properly.

Because the F is mid imo, i have better and more consistent match maker with the A anyways. If i wanted to play 10.0 id go play another nation since 9.0 always plays 10.0 in my matches.

Id rather take that then losing my sanity playing the worst section of air in the game. I dont mind the slower grind as long as i am enjoying the game. Playing the game and making nyself upset just isn’t fun, besides i prefer non missile combat if i can help it. Dogfights are just more fun imo.
The J29F is unironically one of the best performing aircraft I have even got a wager for it hehe.

Mig-21 easy choice.
until AJS37 is unlocked and you can use it for CAS or the JA37C which is sort of ok for the BR.
The J35D is absolute pain (even though it shouldn’t be).
Then if you can then skip the JA37D as it barely has a difference compared to the JA37C but is higher in BR. the JAS39A is fun as heck to play (but a bit less so now since the introduction of ARH missiles)

Who is actually using the flying turd of a plane for CAS though? Seriously ive never seen them be successful since they have to fly way too close to spaa to actually be effective. AJS and AJ are both mid af for cas and always will be. Theres a reason you never see them in ground. Though not like that many people play sweden air. Like 12 people lol
Look they executed the J35XS, so the logical choice is the austrian J35F which will also be ass lmao. Gotta get a new premium in there

Really idk, i do pretty good in them but haven’t played sweden in a while since their air tree is pretty balls for the most part of jets. So far the few AJ’s/viggens ive seen ive murdered with F4C in ground RB and in air RB
They added it because they thought its an easy copy paste then when they saw how shit it was they dropped it in br. It took gaijin adding a premium to see how bad it was. Dont get me wrong it wasnt terrible if you are an air sweat but its far from being worthy of that br.
