Reduce ticket bleed in Naval for the caps when capped by a small boat

Like the title says, if a small coastal boat takes a cap, it should be a slower ticket bleed, especially in higher tiers. there is nothing more annoying than trying to play battleships and having someone spawn a coastal boat, take a cap and the match is over in 5 minutes before anyone can get to a cap at flank speed. That or all matches at 5.3 or higher should be in full open water maps with the one giant cap.

You must be the only player still playing Naval it is a shambles. Are these small boats game operated bots ? They are needed to pad out the player count to make games not just a one versus one.

Despite what people think, Naval is still decently populated. No these boats are bot run, they are actual players, bots spawn in the BR range that the match is, so a BB match means bots in BB’s, not coastal boats. it’s a scummy tactic that should not be allowed, people want to play BB’s, they shouldn’t have there matches ruined by one or two players who decide to play in an unsportsmanlike fashion.

Unsportsmanlike I expect the meaning differs from yourself and Gaijin !!! It is a problem with a lot of the fluff they add to the game to try and big it up as having the most vehicles in any game ever .
I find most of the maps in Naval a bit wrong, even WoWs is obsessed with islands everywhere, fine for coastal boats and destroyers but Cruiser and Battleships weaving around islands like the Costa Concordia and we know how that ended.
I guess they want the game over quickly so you can join another game and keep the queue times short it is Gaijins OCD, ADHD obsession.

If they want the matches over quickly, just reduce the time allotted for the match, They shouldn’t even allow coastal boats to spawn in Blue water matches, I’m 100% in favour of separating the matches, they separated the trees, when what people actually wanted was the trees and the matches separated.

Yep I agree with that as well as all the other problems in Ground and Air with too much mixed up because the BR rating system does not work very well at all. Added in the cheating and that player skill, crew skills and vehicle modifications do not even get considered in matchmaking it makes it a very unbalanced unpleasant gaming experience overall.

Forget your reasoning, just reduce it across the board as even at low BR’s be it as a barge or destroyer spawning frigate the bleed is insane.

Also it can be thanks to AI’s without player input that one side wins via ticket.

During the grind event and playing between 5pm-10pm, i had an average wait time of 4min and teams of 4 vs 4.

It’s actually so bad that the other day I capped 2 points in a boat, and the tickets bled out so fast I didn’t have time to spawn in a blue water ship and ended up with zero activity and got no points for the match!
I think Naval ticket bleed just needs to be slower in general, partially at higher BRs due to how much longer it take to respond to a cap in a ship compared to ground.

I have noticed on the big circle maps that often one teams bot ships all rush onto the point, while the others all come to a full stop out side of it, it’s not an issue if there are only 2 or 3 bots per team, but when there are frequent games with 75%+ bots it’s imposable for the actual players to effect the outcome of the game due to only 1 teams bots actually contesting the point.

Ticket bleed in Naval is definitely too fast given the speed of the boats and the distances involved.

I don’t really like the giant circle maps, except the few that have some land you can use for cover.

The maps with caps designed for boats and destroyers don’t really work once you are at a BR where even the bots are all in cruisers or battleships. Taking a cap in a boat gives minimal reward, and even if you J out immediately and jump in a ship, the match can be over before you get much done. Waste of a spawn usually.

If there was a spawn point system instead of just 3 spawns, or a separate 3 spawns for coastal it might make more sense.

Another thing that might make the 3 cap maps work is making the point designed for cruisers and battleships a much larger circle, and worth as much as both other points put together.

Reduced ticket bleed would be a good start though.

It gives utility to fast boats and hydroplanes, so I don’t mind those being used for capping.

I agree about the ticket bleed being too fast in Naval though. It is ironic that matches in Naval are so quick even though Naval has reputation of being slow mode.

What BR were you playing? My que times were 30 seconds or less 90% of the time.

The ticket bleed definitely needs to be cut down by two thirds.
