Intro:
Seeing that the Civil War era Red Army emblem is in the game now I think it’s only intuitive that all the others follow suite. This suggestion will concern the family of cockades the Red Army used during the mid 30s up until WW2.

Description:

Design wise, this family of cockades share the same emblem: a hammer and sickle (as opposed to the earlier hammer and hoe) superimposed upon a red star with plated edges and rays radiating from its center. The design was iterated upon a few times up until WW2 to improve ergonomics and production costs, but aesthetics wise there appear to be only minor differences in size and proportion. Field commanders got marginally wider stars (37mm wide as opposed to 34mm) than their subordinates, and a smaller star (24mm) was issued for pilotka caps. Some cockades featured simplified hammers and sickles which lacked detail.

Here is the 37mm:

Why:
I am a massive soveeaboo. I will hopefully be writing similar suggestions for emblems the Soviet army adopted postwar.

Would be great as a massive decoration just like the Red Star and the German Cross. Giving to the others in battle that “comrade commissar” authority.
