rocket artillery vehicles had a really cool feature recently which was removed and it allowed to correct the impact until the desired spot was hit as it happened IRL with forward observers
however, since it’s removal these vehicles are blindfolded once again and forced to go into enemy LOS which is very unrealistic as irl these attacked from 10km away and were not designed to get that close to the enemy at all, some vehicles such as katyusha or andryusha have it even worse due to the fixed elevation making it impossible to hit anything thats too close which happens frequently due to tiny arcadish city maps, let alone trees and obstacles that make rockets go to waste
this game really needs an artillery class for these vehicles and having them gain access to WW2 recon planes and spotter quadcopter drone in high tier, this would make these somewhat viable cuz right now playing artillery vehicles is really frustrating and moving them to contested capture points to reload is almost certain death, unfortunately in this game you start in a base that has no ammo so youre forced to get into capture point sooner or later
removing ghost artillery calls and making actual artillery vehicles viable for that role should be the way to go idk why this isnt a thing yet, do people really prefer every vehicle being able to spam ghost artillery than having a few artillery vehicles scattered around which you can actually destroy?
