The 6KM ATGM of Z9WA was developed under the condition that BR was upgraded to 10.7, and the initial Z9WA only had 4KM of HJ-8C

Literally almost every heli at this BR (9.7) is like this or worse. I do not see them getting BR raised, maybe because they dont have TY-90.
Because except for the EC-665, all other heils can only use ATGM or rockets. They only have these two attack methods, while the Chinese Heli can only use AAM when the ATGM is poor and the rockets are also poor. My suggestion is this: Remove TY-90 from helicopters before Z-19, and reduce their BR by 1.0/0.7
Gaijin wouldn’t do that. They would have the possibility of removing TY90 but keeping BR unchanged

Perhaps Gaijin should replace the BR where Z9W (10.0) and Z9WA (10.7) are located with Z11WB (10.0) and Z9WZ (10.7), and then delete the TY90 for Z9W (9.3) and Z9WA (9.7)

you literally can’t unless you’re able to outrun it, which is impossible if you’re in any type of heli. This also applies to subsonic jets too. Can’t flare it either so you’re out of luck entirely.
Do you have any clue how the IRCCM works on it? I’ve had no issues with the A-10 and dodging TY-90s because you literally have to do nothing but flare and turn.

if they changed it recently then i believe you, I haven’t fought against in a while but flaring + turning in the past didn’t work for me whether it was in a Su25, mi24, or Ka50.
During the major addition and slight changes for IRCCM it may have seen changes, I’ll have to check that.
Seeing how it is currently, it should be modelled almost exactly like the FIM-92E, though it has slightly less tolerance as to what heat sources can enter its FOV.

Unflarable is an overstatement. I mean, the TY-90 remains as one of the strongest helicopter air-to-air combat missiles, but it has been nerfed so much since it was first introduced. Flaring it off was extremely challenging back then, but it is lot easier now, and I have seen it done by others more times than I care to count.
