Really bad map design

Map design in this game is awful and its been patch after patch where this issue is not adressed at all, the only consistent change apart from adding a new 60+ dollar copy paste vehicle is a new red zone making the map even smaller, you found some cool spot thats hard to reach and used it to your advantage and commit the sin of having fun in war thunder ? hahah what a shame bcoz its gonna be patched as soon as possible

*wanted to play a bit and and got four CQC maps out of five, fifth map was possible to fight long range but its filled with trees and obstacles rendering HE shells, rockets and atgm useless while providing a huge advantage for tanks with solid munitions or autocannon…

cardboard armor fireworks factory 250 m/s atgm launcher vs 1700 m/s solid shot full plate armor tank is not even a contest but certain defeat specially when theres an entire forest or some random object in between

we need bigger maps ravaged by great fires, shaped by constant war and bombardment with the possibility for all structures to be destroyed so you can break through enemy cover and demolish the city if there is one between you and the enemy so that carrying full ammo capacity serves a purpose instead of being detrimental for you and the unfortunate soul standing too close, the ww1 map is a great example of success in this regard yet it was sent to the shadow realm after the event

the fact we are still getting ww2 scenarios for modern battle ratings make no sense and it’s been months if not years like that
