October BR changes have dropped.First thing I noticed: the max GRB BR was raised to 14.0 to decompress top-tier ground RB air spawns. pushing top jets from 12.7 / 13.0 up to 13.7 and 14.0. That part is fair. The real problem is how snail handled aircraft BRs below top tier in Ground RB:
Most aircraft got bumped up two small BR steps, and some were raised a full 1.0 BR while every SPAA except top-tier SAM systems only got a single small BR increase. Only a tiny handful received a normal decompression step-up. Since most tanks and SPAA only moved one notch up, this brings two unavoidable problems.
Problem 1: every existing viable lineups are directly broken apart,The most obvious examples: the US 11.3 lineup, Soviet 10.7 lineup, French 11.3, Italian 11.0, and Swedish 10.7. To fly an aircraft or helicopter as part of these decks, you now have to push the whole lineup 0.3 or 0.7 BR higher than before. How is that reasonable?
Problem 2: aircraft are thrown into BRs that don’t match their actual combat effectiveness.
won’t go through every case one by one — just look at what gets matched after the patch:
BR 11.7: AMX, Super Étendard, Hawk 209 — matched against Tors at the same BR
BR 12.0: F-4E, Kurnass, F-5E — matched against wheeled Rolands
BR 12.3: F-111F, AV-8B, Mirage 2000D-R1 — matched against Pantsirs!
I genuinely don’t know what to say. The SPAA just turns on its radar panel after launch, guides automatically, and wipes the air completely clean — and your RWR won’t even pick up a signal
snail you cannot raise aircraft BRs without looking at the ground vehicle BRs alongside them in GRB.
you cannot raise aircraft BRs without looking at the SPAA BRs alongside them in GRB.
My core point: it is fundamentally wrong to stretch top-tier aircraft by 1.0 or 0.7 BR and drag all sub-top-tier aircraft up by the same 1.0 or 0.7 BR alongside them. Both SPAA and MBTs only received a 0.3 BR increase. The BR brackets need to be subdivided further, and you should evaluate aircraft to determine which ones actually deserve a BR increase.
