Dont worry, it will ve easier to do so.
Just spend a few matches holding W then you get games that are only bad players.

NO.
SBMM kills every game it touches and their respective fun, and it turns them into a tryhard wasteland.
Considering War Thunder’s nature, it would really escalate the current toxicity.
NO.
I don’t get those, so have no problems on that front :)
In the name of queue times, I will be on snail’s side and say no.
I main 8.0-10.0 jets as those are the most fun, and getting matched into a very small game (especially with a bad aircraft) just means basically guaranteed death because you can very easily be singled out anf killed… SBMM would end uo being very very bad for everything so please, stop making threads that suggest ruining the game! Thanks!
yes, i also agree, SBMM is stupid system that forces good players to carry bad ones, is not fun. If Gaijin adds, I WILL chargeback every single cent ive spent on this game, i swear before god
For owning up
Ty, ty
Im a tech nerd, not a good player
I will say, playing with experienced players as a noob helped greatly. When you play both with and against high level players, you pick up things- knowledge, tips, cheeky moves and situational counters. It might be frustrating to get killed over and over, but there’s no better way to learn. As for top tier, I think you should be able to filter out noobs. They should learn to play the game before they jump right in to what is arguablly the hardest tier.
step 1:
dont buy a top tier premium.
step 2:
instantly have a better time.
need I say more?
How about those who do squad? like I do squad with my new friend, it took him 1 hour to get his first kill. Meanwhile i easily get 10 kills, how will the rating be put in this situation?
Clowning on new German players in the KV-1E will be missed
the SBMM is already in game, one of the mods on this forum confirmed it some time ago
Can’t find it on the forum, here is video about it:
The ELO system is a bad idea; it will only lead to more frustration.
The harder you try, the more you play against higher-level players and the less reward you get?
Think before you write…
so SBMM? they already shot that down IIRC
It’s kinda funny, the video is complaining about the moderator talking shit, because of people like you get the wrong impression.
It looks like that you haven’t considered some issues:
WT is a plain vehicle based shooter with a very strong grinding component. Like irl people won’t get better if they were kept in a low challenge environment. Whilst i agree that it is hard to face battle hardened vets - it is basically the only way to improve.
You won’t get much support for your proposal as you try the imho wrong approach: You try to balance players instead of teams & lobbies.
Just watch a random replay of one of your last matches and try to assess the player skill / experience of the involved players. Usually 90-95% of the players are rather new whilst the rest are veterans.
With your proposal you would create a petting zoo for newer players whilst veteran players would have to wait ages for a complete lobby.
This is not in gaijin’s interest - as vets fulfill the role of limiting SL/RP income for newer players and are slowing down their progress - so they subsequently increase the demand for premium time & vehicles.
You actually want to ensure that veteran players are equally distributed to both teams.
The problem for gaijin is that actual skill is neither related to game/play time or results - and definitively not on player level. A hell of bot bombers in Air RB had level 100 player cards - so as long as level is related to time played the number is worthless.
As previously mentioned it is way more decisive in which mode (Air, Land or Sea) you gained which level of applicable skill/experience and which nation & TT you are playing right now.
I do agree that gaijin uses (like every other video game) a system to assess player skill - you see the results in every match in the order of players of both teams shown in the leader board before even spawning.
That this system is flawed is obvious - if you play Air RB you find a hell of very experienced (and successful) tankers at the top - but they are ez prey for a dedicated pilot.
As a final remark:
This discussion is imho pointless - similar threads in the past have dealt with this for years. Usually sooner or later the usual suspects will pop up and will close this thread.
I am not sure your confidence in any statement from gaijin (no matter by whom in which role) is justified.
This whole topic looks like the Israeli nukes - everybody knows they have them, but they refuse to confirm their existence.
I mean a company earning money with their product by impacting the progress speed of their users would be plain stupid if they would not use tools which are standard in the gaming industry.
In case you can’t follow my logic - not sure if you are aware of how easy it is to generate certain effects:
I am not sure your confidence in any statement from gaijin (no matter by whom in which role) is justified.
I think you’re reading the wrong thing into my comment, I just like the Irony that a person on the forums is citing a video as evidence of the SBMM, while the video’s content is actually the European Canadian chastising the moderator for talking out of turn which leads to people getting the wrong idea about SBMM.
Whether it’s here or not I prefer the abmiguity to a real answer. I personally feel there’s a great deal of uncertainty when I’m playing, just when I feel I’m getting the hang of things I get nasty curve balls. I’m still learning the great unifying underlying meta of meta’s that even Gaijin can’t shake, until I master it I’ll feel adrift in the seas of an unforgiving but sometimes forgiving matchmaker.
You should consider to either:
It sounds way better than " i grew up in a middle-class family" …😂
I got your point.
Have a good one!
Regarding my topic, it was simply about setting up a ranking system for players who would like to play in ranked matches. I am not talking about the game as a whole but rather a function where we can face players who want to join, this can be done in a squad, a squadron, or even randomly. For example, in tiers of 10, so from level 10 to 20, etc., and when reaching the top level, we face level 100 against level 100. I believe that a ranking system encourages players to progress and rekindle their desire to participate. I wanted to add that if you don’t join the ranked matches, you lose points, which will encourage people not to jump in without participating.
