How would balancing by years fix anything about vehicle exports?
The Alpha Jet TH being a higher BR then the F-35 hardly sounds like a good balance solution.

Well originally this was under Air Battles before it was moved. Also I would trade 4 mavericks for 1280 chaff and flare any day it really isn’t that big of a downgrade compared to not getting 1280 chaff or flare.
maybe a more refined approach would be to balanced based on years for a specific vehicle type. like some of those export F-5’s being only .3 above the F-5E while getting up to 4 all aspect missiles with 2 of those having 40g mach 3.5

its not unique to be strictly worse than other jets at the same BR, uniqueness in this game is achieved when you are different as a sidegrade, not as a downgrade

Then explain the F-18C? No CAS harder grind, no HMD, worse RWR all at 14.0 same BR in ground and air

You said its unique to be a sidegrade, the F-18C is a straight down grade. So how is that unique to be the same BR and be worse

It has a HMS also you can’t say the lack of 4 MAVs make the grind harder when A it’s a tier 3 and 4 modifications meaning you wouldn’t get it till the end and B you use bombs to grind in Air RB.

Because you stated the exports were always better when its not the case. The F-18C was worse yet of course you cant accept that.Again Sweden lacks CAS the MLU was to hopefully fix that. Again its a trade off.

there is a sea of upgraded aircraft that are straight up not in the game. also the first american a2a missile got added, and guess what its only to fucking switzerland

Well in MLU 1, they got block II aim 9 X, and HMS what would be most noticeable in game and IFF
In MLU 2. Those things got bigger dataling, new aim 120’s and ground attack ordinance + bol pods etc etc
No balance at all.
But better at different context - way less cases when domestic earlier version fights later export model
