Dear War Thunder Developers,
will the System of acquiring high Tier Tanks, stay the same, or will you ever make it like in World of Tanks, so we do not need five to six Tanks, of lower Tier, to acquire Tanks of higher Tier? In World of Tanks you just follow one Line, and reach Tier ten.

Probably not, sole exception is high tier naval e.g to get Richelieu you only need Dunkerque as it’s France’s only rank 6 Bluewater.

The main difference between these games is that in War Thunder you can play more than one vehicle.
So, if you could research only one line, then almost everyone grinding any nation would just bring one vehicle for the fastest grind, right?
This is the problem — it already exists with high-BR premiums, but it would go much further beyond today’s situation.
The game doesn’t end when everyone dies once, unlike in ARB.
So you want to rush to the top and only have one vehicle to use?
Well since Germany has four Tanks, with a Rating of 12.3 and 12.7 in the Leopard Line, for me it would be beneficial.
12.3 and 12.7 sure but what about every tier leading up to that?
German Leopard Line has four Tanks with Ratings above 12, so i can just play them. In Lines where there is only one Vehicle with a Rating above 12, you can just grind another line, which we have been doing this entire time.
Well you can just have one Tank of 8.0 and 9.0, there is no significantly noticable difference in those Tanks. And you can always grind another Line, if you are that Player who wants to have three or more Tanks in your Inventory.

I do not think that for Example, between Tier 8.0 and 9.0 and other Tiers, there is much noticable difference. There is a huge Difference between Tier 1.0 and 12.7, but not between 7.0 and 8.0 for Example. You can always work on another line and have multiple Tier 8.0 Vehicles, it is not like it is forbidden, it is exactly the Opposite.
from the very beginning. you can reach top tier in most nations just playing the MBT, AA and Light lines
which i feel like is quite balanced. only issue with the system is that the grind SUCKS.

For me personally, who is not a “Collector” and only plays two Tanks, it “sucks” even more.
There is a very significant difference, do your team a favor and make proper lineups
World of Tanks players try to make this game like theirs…
