As of now there is a issue for the flankers found at the BR of 13.3-13.7 in the Soviet and Chinese tech tree with the Su-30MKK/MK2 and J-11A in 13.3 and Su-27SM and J-11B at 13.7 being the main dominant fighters at these BRs. With looking at the stats for the last month this can be viewed pretty clearly.

So i would like to suggest/discuss the rework of BR and capability of the flankers with these changes described below:
J-11A: BR 13.3 → BR 13.7 + Reworked/model changed to the J-11A “MLU” as some sources call it, with the main changes being addition of the N001VE and L-150 instead of the old N001E and SPO-15 to make it more in line with the MKK/MK2.
J-11B: BR 13.7 → 14.0 With the recent PL-12 Buffs + one of the best if not the best mechanical radars in the game and good MAWS
Su-27SM: BR 13.7 But it losses the dual rack R-77 leaving it with 4 IR + 6 ARH like other 13.7 flankers mentioned above it in this post, and has its AL-31F-M1s removed and replaced with the AL-31F. Reducing its thrust from 2x 12520 kgf to 2x 11660 kgf
new addition Su-27SM3: BR 14.0 Essentially the current Su-27SM in game right now as of October 2026 with the AL-31F-M1 and 4 IR + 8 ARH missiles but instead of using the 2x dual racks it has 2 extra hardpoints on the wing for missiles so it will look like this instead and leaving the dual rack R-77 option only for rank 9 flankers:

Would you like to see these changes made to the 13.3-13.7 flankers?
Yeah, I think these changes would make quite a lot of sense overall. Moving some of the Flankers up in BR could help with the current balance, while giving others more of the capabilities they actually have irl would make the differences between each variant more noticeable. Of course, always taking into account the technological capabilities each variant actually had irl, like the upgrades suggested for the J-11A, which I think were pretty well explained here. It would also add more value to the history and evolution of the Flanker family in game.
What I find pretty impressive is how well the Su-30 premiums are performing considering how many people play them, almost five times more than some of the other Flankers, yet they still manage to maintain really good stats, especially considering that a lot of these players probably have very little experience or are relatively low level that alone says quite a lot about how good these aircraft are and how favorable their current BR is. And when you look at the Chinese Flankers, considering their capabilities, PL-12s and the MAWS on the J-11B, it makes sense that they perform so well too. You can definitely see the difference it makes.
Of course, it would depend on how they perform at their new BRs, but overall I think it’s a pretty reasonable proposal
