Its insanely infuriating, landing a good shot, just for it to be negated because you have the “ugly duckling” ammo.
11.7 vehicles being uptiered, against toptier vehicles, WHILE having stock HEAT is just fascinating to me.
This shot shouldve killed his breech but 0 points.
Whereas if I had APFSDS, this shot coudlve even 1 tapped him. (Even M829 couldve killed him with that shot)
Module grind should not exist at all. Not just heat rounds. Tech tree grind - okay, let it be. But let us PLAY our new vehicles, not just suffer every damn time. Starting with nothing is just infuriating and demotivates from grinding new vehicles. Rarely grind any new vehicles for that reason. Unique tanks I dont have are locked behind wall of stock copy paste. Not only helis require tons of rp to unlock but also they require hours of heli pve grind for modules. Same about aircraft but you spend that time in arb or asb. And sometimes it isnt even worth it. Like f111a in grb. Its a joke compared to corsair at same br. Or us f5e. On same br as f4e with better cas capability and jap f5t with py3, ccip, ccrp (which lets you set poi on map instead of pointing your aircraft nose right at target to lock and launch mavs like on us f5e). Stock grind takes “I have wasted my time” feeling to new level.
Yeah… it sucks after 9.0. I remember non-penning the flat side of a 2A7V w/ the M1 AIM stock HEAT-FS, not to mention what little damage it does if it even manages to pen anything, and the lower velocity without a rangefinder doesnt help much either
They will never remove these issues from the game because thats how they get people to spend GE on mods. Same with jets. When you unlock a new jet you get only guns, no bombs, no missles not even an IR missle on the low br ones. And then you get to suffer against premiums that have a full kit and better missles. (The missles you unlock are just inferior to the premium)
High rank stock grinding is the biggest problem in warthunder right now in my opinion
