You’re starting to sound like me when I start drinking. “Did I tell you to hurl missiles at me? No, so what made you think you were allowed to?” Besides the ever present parroting of control issues, I cannot really see psychology being present in the game. You move, he moves, he hurls missiles, you can dodge them, there’s no allowance in there. If he’s smart, he runs away and goes to the airfield. If he’s dumb, well he gets shot down.
Then again, I don’t care to overthink the game. When I start to overthink, I get overly competitive and then I begin to hate the game as it starts to feel like a chore. Obviously you have better insight then me, but I just don’t believe there is any form of psychology, just people getting overconfident and making bad decisions.
Better yet, sometimes I yell at my own aircraft. “Did I tell you to roll left? No! So what made you think that you could screw me over by shifting that cross hair over?” One of the reasons I hate dogfighting in modern jets sometimes. I’ll have it lined up, and then it will shift.
Which will just lead to me saying, “what gave you the damn right to get hit by those missiles? Do you enjoy screwing me over?” I do that anyways, but still.
I say this as a person who have spaded all Chinese rank VII jets myself. China rank VII is the best. You will never again see such perfection, not before nor after it at rank VIII. J-7E is not a simple plane to fly, but it has good potential. Learn how to play it more effectively; there are many multimedia information sources available on the internet. For example, here is a short video on how to survive against SARH missiles.
The J-7E does not have significant match presence or determining power. That doesn’t mean it does not fit at its BR of 11.3, just that it requires a careful playstyle.
Also implying that A-10A is a J-7E is funny.
R-60Ms are not AIM-9L equivalent, and 4x AIM-9Ls start at 12.0: Tornado F3, and that’s under-BR’d due to radar missiles.
i’m a pretty shitty player but J-7E is my highest KD vehicle (4 kd). I usually sideclimb to just below contrail altitude and sneak around behind the enemy team, it’s quite successful since the PL-5B is one of the best non-irccm rear-aspect IR missiles in the game - they burn quickly and can often snipe people from 3 km away. I rarely get into dogfights since I’m bad with the cannon, but I can usually still kill at least one person with the 60 rounds provided.
Hi
If you want to discuss specific aircraft, please use Machinery of War section.
Please check search function before you create new thread, most probably there is already ongoing thread on specific vehicle.
