Tanks like the Conqueror and M103 had rudimentary Ballistic computers that could auto adjust the guns to the correct elevation when the rangefinder was used.
Other tanks had this ability too yes, infact MOST NATO tanks had this functionality. But i believe it should be reserved for tanks like the M103 and Conqueror, where their long reloads make missing alot more devastating than some MBT with a 7 second reload.
Would you like to see some of the slower reloading Heavies get their Mechanical ballistic Computers?

Id say they shouldn’t be a instant adjustment like the LRFs are in game, maybe a second or two to adjust the gun up or down in elevation. And since the Coincidence rangefinders aren’t 100% accurate, you will still have to make some adjustments to the aim even after the main adjustment, but way less than you possibly just flat out missing because you guessed the range wrong.

Sure, Why not. I’d say give it to all tanks that had them though. But if it’s just for the heavies , Then its cool. They’re basically the most nerfed tank class when if comes to this game. (At least when it comes to br and facing heat)

Thinking a M103 or Conqueror are “braindead” is… I don’t even know how to describe it.
They are two tanks with heavily under-performing shells, AND Armor, While also being slower than anything else at their BR, and having stupid long reloads.
They have no plus sides. giving them these Mechanical Ballistic computers would atleast give them a little bit of a edge.
You find Conqueror and M103 to be no-brainers?
Down tier menaces and super easy, because most people won’t know how to deal with you without HEAT.
I like playing them dont get me wrong, but if anything, you need to think playing with these, just by the grace of the long ahh reload they have, not to mention the other issues as LFP weakspot etc.
Unlike somua, they cant outreload their way out of trouble.

I think some tanks shouldn’t get them just to the Op factor, imagine a T-58 that can just auto adjust its gun.
