I propose raising the battle rating of the Pantsir-S1 to 12.7, or even 13.0.
This would give older-generation aircraft at 11.3 or 11.7 at least a fighting chance to conduct CAS (close air support). Currently, the Pantsir is extremely overpowered with almost no real weaknesses, making it nearly impossible for any air unit to operate safely when it’s on the battlefield.
Here are the main reasons why its BR should be increased:
- It has the fastest missiles** among any SPAAG or SAM system in the game.
- Its missile range is unmatched — up to 20 km.
- Aircraft RWRs do not warn about radar lock or missile launch**, especially when the Pantsir operates in optical mode.
- It has the most maneuverable missiles of any ground-based air defense system.
- No other nation has a comparable system — nothing comes close in terms of capability and versatility.
The Pantsir creates a major imbalance in top-tier mixed battles, and raising its BR would help restore more fair and engaging gameplay for all players.

Pantsir is not hard to counter at all with aircraft above 12.0. Aircraft at 12.0 can still counter it, ie: F-16A, JAS39A, etc. For 11.3 and 11.7 aircraft, while it is harder, it is still 100% doable, just has an imbalance like the Leopard 2A7V vs an M1A1 for example. Just learn to play. We do need better SPAA for other nations as well.

Raising the battle rating of a single vehicle is not reasonable because you can’t evade… Currently high tiers and top tier ground vehicles suffers of intense compression specially now after the battle rating changes.

Pantsir sure is better than ADATS or Ito but i dont think its borderline OP

Only thing it has over other SPAA is the ability to easily shoot down multiple agms. You arent killing anyone unless they are off the deck within 10km flying in a straight line attack run.
Only way you are killing people that know what they are doing is predict where they are going to try and kill you from while lawn mowing pre-aim that spot and hope you kill them before they launch with guns, and most times you will end up trading at best.
It prevents people that think they can just loiter above the battlefield and sling agms, which is what SPAA is supposed to do. And I understand it sucks it is on the same nation that has long range agms as pantsir is the only current counter to these 15km zombie launches from airspawn.
I get its better than other SPAA but to say its preventing CAS is a big stretch. If anything all SPAA should get moved down. Running into good heli players at 9.3-10.3 is a gigantic nightmare atm where they outrange SPAA and only can be touched by CAP which costs more to spawn than a fully loaded heli.
