Why does the RAH-66 which was designed to have fire and forget missiles not have them considering it was made for stealth and it having no counter measures makes it and all other helis at a disadvantage when compared to the Mi-28NM

first of all, fnf and stealth arent specialy sth that go hand in hand. one doesnt demand the other.
second, you are aware the RAH-66 never finished development? its a canceled heli project, it literaly never received counter measures, thats why it doesnt get them.
now to your initial question. Gajin doesnt like mmw fnf weaponry.
In their mind they are to “strong” cause they cant be hidden against since its radar weaponry.
For the same reason the brimstone doesnt get its fnf function
you are looking for the L variant not the K one.
The K variant literaly is in the game.
Besides that your infographic is initial plans, ideas, it was not fully realised

this one will always annoy me cause they could have answered with this in the bug reporting forum back on release, but the volunteer decided to say something along the lines of “because it was stealth it obviously never would use chaff or flares like that makes any sense”
the rest of the post is completly right , i do wonder if one day we will get mmw with a new countermeasure option like how we will likely get ecm before 5th gens or the meteor missile.

I am aware that it never received counter mesures that’s why I’m also saying it should receive fire and forget missiles since it was designed for those types of missiles
Also to the other point of it being to strong the mi-28n has them 😭
the mi 28N has no fnf, you are thinking of the NM, way higher BR range, besides that the Lemur is IR seeker not MMW, big difference. You realy need to get your vehicles and technology straight
it was not designed for those types of missles, you are pairing stuff here that isnt necesarily together, the stealth is used to get to advantegous positions and so on.
But as soon as you go into attack mode you lose your stealth factos anyway as well. its not designed for fnf missions. it was just compatible with them.
Hell i am not actualy sure it ever equiped the necesary radar in real life and wasnt added later on as a mock up

It was designed to use both types of missiles with the age-114L longbow hellfire (FnF) and the agm-114K and others that are semi laser seeking like the arm-114R
its compatible, cause its a longbow, being specialy designed for it is sth different
And some variants had radar just above the rotor
Also the Mi-28n might as well be using fnf since you cannot dodge the missile unless you hide behind something even smoke doesn’t effect it even if it’s a heat seeker
Again the radar does not it specialy designed for fnf armament.
There is plenty helis with fnf without radar

You can fire hellfired trough smoke as well
There is vast differences between fnf and saclos missles.
The problem with saclos/laser is that you are completly free for return fire.
Anti spaa can take you out.
Fnf is shoot and hide.
Thats why fnf helis have a way higher br as well.
The rah 66 would be completly useless there either way.
Not to mention gajim dpesnt want to sell helis at those brs, ao fprget the addition.
And the way you feel about Mi 28N others will feel about the RAH 66, there is not much difference there. The hellfires just feel slower for you cause they loft
So riddle me this why is it that Mi28ns can fire 3-4 missiles and dip down and they still track 5km away through smoke
And no my hellfire missiles do not track through smoke so I have no clue what your talking about
