No, the actual point here is that nothing indicated it would be bad. The french community is constantly pretending they’re the worst treated community in WT when its demonstrably false, and has been for at least 3 years when it comes to air battles.

Every minor nation community does that though. And even sometimes people playing US, Russia or Germany. The one that mostly complain when it comes to the french are on the ground side of things. I’ve seen very little to no complaint about air the past year.

It also doesn’t change the fact that for the last year AFTER the Rafale was added, the French community has been doing everything in their power to try to pretend the Rafale was not OP and NEEDED more buffs because it was at risk of falling into irrelevancy, and you are out here pretending that no, actually, the french community has been split on the matter of the Rafales ahistorical buffs when that is demonstrably a lie.

I don’t disagree on that one. They’ve tried to make it future proof, but seeing as the devs decided to accept the bug reports faster than usual they should have slowed down.

There has never been a community in the history of WT forums that has been this tight-nit, exclusionary, and dead-set on overbuffing an aircraft that is and was already massively overperforming, likely more than any other aircraft in WT history, and has been caught repeatedly lying to try to get this done, with just about 0 public pushback from “the french community”. As a matter of fact, just about anyone who has dared to criticize the Rafale in any way or call for nerfs for it have been attacked in various ways regardless of how much they may actually like the jet itself. The community is a collective cancer to this game. I’m honestly impressed some of the bug reporting members have not had their ability to bug report revoked for how many times they’ve been caught knowingly lying in bug reports.

That entire part is wrong, but explaining why and giving examples would honestly be a waste of time.

In every single community of nations there are people that clearly want an advantage. Rafale, KH38, Pantsir, Gripen, IRIS-T SLM, MI28, TURM III, T58, Kron, Scharnhorst : Every topic regarding meta (or former meta) vehicles will show you that

okay to be fair. The mirage f1c from around 3 years ago was utter horrendous on release. And was still mediocre for a long while until the magic 2s got their irccm (they didn’t even drop with magic 2s - only magic 1s if i recall correctly). So really the french community have only been eating good since their mirage 2k. Before that their tech tree was very mediocre.

I’ve seen a grand total of 1 person from “the french community” consistently argue against the 8 MICA’s, the rest have been arguing in bad faith and actively trying to overbuff the Rafale since the dev server

Utter lies, you should have been here on the first rafale thread, when it came out with everyone arguing against and even finding bad way to deny the 8 mica despite enough proofs.
There are still some of them evoking it from time to time.
