The Mirage 2000 on its introduction and the Mirage 2000 on the introduction of ARH missiles. This time period covers all the way back to 6 months after the F-14 introduction. That covers something like the last 3-4 years.
One could also make the argument for Mirage 4000 in irccm meta due to 8 missiles and a good flight model against everything that isn’t original flight model Gripen.
I didn’t say this, but ironically you are now just trying to misrepresent my stance and doing something very similar to what you’re claiming I’m doing.
The MiG-21s were not nerfed until years after the top tier meta had moved into 4th generation fighters.
The big nerf to MiG-23, MiG-21, JA-37, etc came from RideR2 and appears to have been done in large part just to make it easier for him to stat-pad the Mirage 2000D in Simulator game mode.
I don’t think that’s true but I don’t have dates to look at. I’m not referring to when RideR2 submitted all those reports. I’m referring to earlier nerfs such as when 21bis lost top speed by a lot at sea level or when it lost a chunk of thrust
Scorpion HMD is basically a commercial off the shelf option. There is basically no reason to believe that it would not be compatible with a wide variety of other aircraft.
Also Gaijin is not consistent with implementing things that were tested and has opted to leave features off in the past in order to maintain balance etc.
i don’t care of “based in-game results” posts that most “so called players” here are using in order to try getting the Rafale nerfed.
so in a way, we’re both (me and him) looking for the same thing,…
it’s simply that he engaged on my primary post, when he claims not to be the one targeted by it.
and if you were reaching for my primary post, you would have known that :
In old meta the MiG-21s were always competitive with F-4E. The F-4E has better gun, better top speed, and worse maneuverability.
In fight against Pre-Bis 21s, the only thing the plane was good at was running away. And any kind of commitment to a fight by the average player would bleed enough speed to get slammed by 21s.
I played both at the time and the F-4 was mainly better on paper but also much more of a chore to fly. It was better in the same ways that the P-51D-30 etc are better in prop tier RB.
T-80BVM, while not a top 5 MBT ever, it was called OP by hundreds if not thousands.
To me, after conducting my deep cross-analysis, I 100% believe Rafale is being given T-80BVM treatment by the playerbase.
Elevating it above and beyond its capabilities.
That’s implying the F-16C and Gripen C are 14.0/14.3.
Oh wait, I have a friend that’s been playing the Rafale fresh… let’s see if it’s holding his hand.
Nope, my friend’s hand is not being held by Rafale. The KDR/KMR matches similarly to many other jets within margin of error.
Defyn’s service record is ~5:1 which is normal for Defyn.
Weird how the good players that play it aren’t getting a significantly higher KDR/KMR despite allegations of it being OP.
You know what is OP? F-18A, and Gripen was OP.
Defyn got a 102:1 KDR in Gripen.
I got a 5:1 in my own Gripen when it was released while my average was ~1.8:1.
That’s indication of hand-holding.
It won’t. I’ve been playing the Rafale without using HMD and self limited to 6 missiles, and nothing has changed for me. Vertical ACM is perfectly capable of supplanting HMD completely, and losing 2 missiles has changed absolutely nothing. Unlike Su-30SM or similar high magazine depth aircraft, you don’t send out chancy shots with MICA and “go fishing” for bad players or ones not paying attention.
Your performance in Rafale is worse than over 20 other aircraft you’ve played.
Clearly it’s not OP, and clearly the way you’re using it is impacting performance further.
overstating how difficult this even would be to do the entire game, 2. this fixes about 1000 issues, not just your rafale issue, and 3. They only have to decompress a few specific BRs, not the entire game.
I wasn’t referring to vehicle class friend. You just don’t understand what I meant.
