No, I don’t. Anybody who says these things about top tier being ahistorical really needs to realize that nothing about rank 8 jets is historical from the jets themselves (almost all of them have funny FM problems that don’t align with IRL), loadout issues, missiles still using placeholder stats 2 years after they were added… etc. I care about balance more than historical changes since its clear gaijin will never fix the historical aspects of this game.

Balance in this game is a house of cards, so buffing the lesser options might not be realistic.
You buff all 14.3s to the levels that Rafale is operating at, which will make 14.0s feel like crap so you’ll need to buff all of them accordingly as well. Repeat this for 13.7s and below and you’ll see how problematic that “just buff others” argument is.

Things being meta is the problem here.

There are issues with pretty much most of rank 8 that can be solved, which usually leads to said aircraft being buffed. Further, decompression is always an option and is extremely effective.

Read what I just said above about decompression being always available, very easy to pull off, and very effective.

therefore it impact all your metrics (WinRates / KDR / …), so your balance demands based on such claims are flawed.

the gap between the f4e and its contenders isn’t by far as big as the gap the rafale has to the other 14.3s

More players - average results got lower and lower
Less players - average results can be high

as the amount of players from the low amount are often more skilled due to many factors.
creating a problem to use Win rates or KD rates as comparison metrics
(not necessarly “you” directly, but “you” generally speaking)

I would disagree. The F-4E curb stomped its bracket save for the singular 21bis that was in the game at the time (germany didnt even have one) and even the 21bis ended up being worse after nerfs. USA then received a mega turbo buffed F-5E that further put balance towards USA.
