This is most likely going to be the case yep.
At least we should expect somewhat good acceleration, even more than what we can see on the Su30 post engine buff.
I hope that since the su35, compared to the su30, loses the canards and double seat config it will have a reviewed drag profile, and not just a c&p su27 model.
Lighter + more thrust should be a net positive for the FM, it’ll never be as good as a Eurocanard, but it’ll definitely be capable alongside stuff like the F-15

I know, the more trustable sources range it from 18400 kg up to 19000, but they don’t specify if the final number includes the Khibiny pods, those alone could be around 200kg each.

Guess il experiment and find out the hard way.
Personally i find fakours hardest missiles to dodge, you have to react as soon as rwr pings and they dont seem to care about notching.
Su-35 might still lose to rafale in 1v1, but Air RB isnt 1v1.
Similar to the case when rafales and su30s lose to nimble dogfighters like J10 and gripen in a 1v1.
But their missiles and radars solves the problem.
After seeing what R771s can do, they def wont introduce R77M as “nobody”.

But yeah, Su35 with R77-1 will be more than fine for the current meta.
Rafale will either eventually phased out of meta (assuming they don’t give Rafale new BVR) or stay pretty relevant up until 5th Gen comes.
I talk about the in-game obviously, we still haven’t heard of some game changer BVR Missile to break the meta. MICA still very strong especially with Rafale weight buff lol.
