Why does range matter? Aim120c5 is the worst fox 3 other than phoenixes below 20km, what is shooting at 20km + gonna do 90% of the time?
look at my current F2A stats then, AAM-4 is pretty similar to AIM-120B, and still does kill easily at 30km range launch
which gives me largely enough time to notch any incoming MICA’s,…
Playing from afar, to an ennemy that NEEDS to come close, is always an advantage.
This is about c5 not 120b, 120b is a lot better than 120c5 at close range.
And aam4 turns a lot better than120b

and i still uses it at 30km,… like AAM-4,…
MICA is good at 10-15km, but not really over that.

Mica is good from 2 to like 20km. And above that even firing 120 is pretty useless, unless target just flies straight into it. Which even mica would hit
Let’s be honest here a good player should not be getting hit by 30km 120 shots. A rafale can just keep notching and close the distance and they only way you are going to keep your distance is to fly away from them until you hit the map border.

Nothing, unless you and the target are going very fast, and if the target makes little to no action for dodging. I’m in favour of a 120C seeker buff just so they have a chance to get a kill against a non AFK target at high ranges.

Grind rafale and shut up.
Even players do get rafales there’s still gonna be someone getting 20KD and a lot of people getting negative KD.
It’s def T0, but still requires skill to play it right, this is how the game works.

Meanwhile, there’s always gonna be something on the top, and the old kings will fall, like AIM120 carriers in 2024. Sadly I did not enjoy much of the F15 glory due to TOO FEW gameplays at that time.
After seeing what R771s can do, su35’s def gonna be the new king in Air RB after it comes out, maybe carrying the R77Ms?
I guess you would feel more frustrating when a Russian jet comes on top, as some players think Russian Top Tier GRB is broken.

They might even add the ability to hard lock multiple targets with this one since it’s kinda important for the R-27ER. Not to mention you can stay in the notch an guide missiles because of the insane radar azimuth angles.
btw Idk how they’re gonna treat gripen Es and J10Cs. Gripen E might be shit with gold on it, (It has a solid FM but it gets AIM120s and it’s gonna take forever for gripen and typhoons to get IRISTs).
But J10C might be good. I’m grinding Chinese tech tree anyway, cuzI heard they’ve found J10C model in the leak.

I am not holding my breath for Gripen E. Seems like it’s going to be a worse Eurofighter (with Captor-E ofc).
J-10A is quite nice. I like it. Overall I think the Chinese TT is in for a biggest glowup in the coming updates. And yeah some instrumentation for the J-10C was datamined. Also someone who appears to have some kind of insider info did say or at least allude to J-10C for the next update.

especially with the BR change recently, J10A gets better matchmaking overall.
I also feel VERY comfortable while doing continuous notch in J10A. Its nose authority is absolutely sick. I hope they keep this while adding J10C.
Idk why I’m feeling this, maybe it’s just at a balanced point between “pulling” and “pulling too much”.
Rafales and F18s pulls too much sometimes, and that leads to poor retention. It feels quite weird sometimes.
Not too much info is known about them yet, we know what the upgrades are yeah, but since it got a design change it’s hard to say what the performance of it might be (since it drops the old fins).
As for this, I expect the Su35 to be a great jet, with big thrust, but I doubt the FM will be any less of a boat than the su30, but the avionic upgrades will be very welcome.
Imo it will close the gap more between the su30 and rafale, but probably will still be 2nd to the rafale.
It will be a c&p of su30sm with more thrust
