Point being, gaijin makes flawed decisions based on their own stats, which have all the samples from every account, because player stats shouldn’t dictate BRs or other balancing measures.
It’s a flawed way to go about it because it punishes minor nations unique vehicles since ever.

I played it after the sustained turn rate nerf… Still managed to get a 30 kill game and 4 deaths on a small ass map because the rafale is still the best at what it does - > super high off bore then immediate vert notch while staying above the other player, effectively making it so that the other player has almost 0 opportunity to get into the merge.
They still didn’t nerf the absurd amount of gs it can pull in that first turn/instantaneous turn that allows it to get immediately into a vert notch. Since then I was like might as well just player other planes, this plane is getting boring af as no one can contest you. I used to deadass watch anime and lob micas at 11k alt at mach 2 in sim and still come away with a 1/5 kd ratio while essentially being afk (btw married couples but not lovers or whatever its called is a goated anime). Combine that with its micas and INSANE acceleration (Which I somehow doubt is accurate) means it’s by far best plane in the game.
Anyone that says its bad in bvr is definitely coping, the platform itself is more than good enough to make the micas more than viable for bvr, and anyways bvr is not meta, it’s close ranged shots. From playing against it in rb, it’s also annoying as hell, although IMO the average rafale player in rb is so braindead that I somehow usually win jousts against them in stuff like the j-11b, or my favourite counter to em, the chinese mirage. I mostly used rb to spade the rafale so I don’t really have the greatest frame of reference of how it is there, but it’s still easily the best plane just from playing against it in not the best air frames but definitely competitive ones (su30, j11b, j10, mirage 2k, etc).
yeah, after playing top tier so much in both sim and rb atp all radar missiles feel the same to notch, doesn’t matter the seekerhead
F-14 and MiG-29
F-14 does NOT get it bad in war thunder, stop the copium.
MiG-29 is worse than irl I believe, there are some outstanding bugreports about wrong thrust, incorrect drag and worst STR.
i think f-14 gotta be overperforming in sustained turn rate like that thing rates like a mfer.

Also sure those wings are massive but they are HEAVY
I don’t think the F-14 would be the only one to suffer from compressor stalls. They don’t model that sort of stuff for a reason

Buff the rafale
It was not just you. There were tons of people that would quit Simplys match and then join mine. At the end of the night there were only 2 sim lobbies and both were Denmark.
Even for CAS its the best jet after Kh38 slingers. HAMMERs massively outrange anything else laser/IR guided NATO can bring, though it takes 30 business days to arrive.
Same… but the Mica does ignore multipath, even if the enemy fires it from low alt. This means the Raf never has to leave 50M height spamming micas and getting hits on other planes that are multipathing- very OP and unfair
As they still hit when cranking hard sniffing the floor, no other missile does this unless fired top down from space… the Mica doest care and still hits . This is an balancing issue. Now if the Raf is back to best dogfighter, with missiles that do what others dont … its a bit of a joke
This is due to the Rafale’s operational methodology. The Rafale utilizes its excellent maneuverability and speed to gain altitude, then fires missiles in a diving strike. This makes it highly likely to evade multi-pass. Ultimately, it’s thanks to the Rafale’s excellent airframe performance.

Raf never has to leave 50 m so the only other vic that can kill it with fox 3 reliably is another Mica carrier.
While other jets firing fox 3 from under 50 m at a enemy multipath= very low hit rate. So it has gameplay that no others can perform
Raf can fly straight under 50 M as unless Mica the missile sees clutter and hits floor… unless fired top down
