Gaijin also usually dislikes France, Leclercs get shafted constantly, half their tanks are overtiered and instead of interesting domestic vehicles they get the same copy and paste slop everyone does.

Rafale was still dominant with the previous FM, which was worse. Its mostly about the AESA and the micas which are the only fox3 with a different and better seeker than the standard seeker that every other modern fox3 uses.

The Mirage 2000C used to being the “Underdog” if its BR, I believe it’s more like Tornado F.3 being the king of its own BR. Compared to Rafale, Mirage 2000C also far worser than Rafale because before going to 12.3 (and finally 12.7) Mirage 2000C consistently fighting 3rd Gen while Rafale at the least, are fighting its comparable enemies, although the enemies are somehow handicapped (like the EFT being locked to G Limiter).

With how small the sim community compared to Air RB matches, especially you can joining a match like a custom lobby, it would make Rafale way more overpowered especially with coordinated playing. For whataboutism, EFT recently got NCTR same as Rafale, which you used to use as the argument for Rafale being the only aircraft that had IFF on HMD, now EFT also had it, 3 countries affected by that leaving only Su-30SM that are flying without IFF on HMD.

Yeah it’s just my opinion anyway, but yeah I forget out Gunjob has done several job (pun intended lol) for EFTs, that’s why in the end it comes back to Gaijin decision.
I can’t remember well does MICA-EM ever had that unique seeker from the Storm Warning lol, because I thought the fully spherical MAW/RWR Coverage was also done by the Bug Reporter, but actually done internally by Gaijin itself.

MAWS/RWR coverage isnt that special.
But MICA basically being the only gen 5 missile in game combined with the magic 2, just gives it an overwhelming advantage in WVR. It could have an FM on a Tornado and probably still do okay in a dogfight.
That is the power of HOBS vs non-HOBS in a dogfight. (and why I get really annoyed when people fixate on gunfighting performance over actual dogfighting performance with missiles)

Age does not determine the technology generation it belongs to.
J-8II (1984) is a 2nd generation fighter and F-15 (1972) is clearly something beyond 2 gen.

No other nation has access to that level of missile yet. The closest equivalents for a dogfight would be things ASRAAM and IRIS-T and not AMRAAM or Aim-9M

So… Typhoon with 9M and AMRAAM Vs Rafale with MICA EM is far far less balanced than Typhoon with ASRAAM/IRIS-T Vs Rafale with MiCA EM. In fact that would probably actually be balanced
No wonder the Rafale just steamrolls every WVR fight when they have missiles that kinematically match the Gen 5 IRs everyone should have
Meteor* or Some AIM-120 along with ASRAAM or IRIS-T.
Both ASRAAM and IRIS-T are infrared close range missiles so might should use MICA IR to compete in this case
I know… The meteor isn’t going to be much help in a dogfight.
I’m talking about WVR dogfights. Rafale has both Magic II and MICA EM. Both high performance HOBS missiles.
Typhoon has Aim-9M and AMRAAM. Both missiles that can’t be used in HOBS.
The closest equivalent to MICA EM in close range kinematics would be ASRAAM or IRIS-T for the Typhoon.
The Rafale literally has a ARH version of their Gen 5 IR already in game, whilst everyone else has massively nerfed versions of their IR and ARH missiles
