Rafale rage

But I don’t exploit it? I honestly don’t care about it that much. I just want to see something good in minor nations. Whether that’s Rafale now or the J-10A last year it doesn’t matter to me. As long as big 3 doesn’t get it.

Give it to Japan

2000 - in late december 2000, with Rafale M F.1 in Marine Nationale (for serviced MICA EM on board Rafale, those missiles were given to the Mirage 2000-5F in 1996)

and what reason will it be? a Rafale CJ? alike the F-16AJ?

the Indonesian/Serbian ones? are still not in service.
the Croatian/Greek/Qatar/UAE ones? which reason for it, to be accomodated with Japan - a faraway country.

See, currently no other country than Egypt and India are in the game.
Egypt is given to Russia TT (Su-22M3)
Indian is given to UK TT (MiG-21 Bison)

@I_MiikaL_I can speak of spreading Rafale, but no one in game have any rights onto those Rafales,…
Giving to Russia, per Egypt lend-lease would be Russian bias
Giving it to UK, would make UK mains cry about EF-2000

and other operating countries are yet to be given to any main country of the game, but need a reason for those to be linked with main nations.

Being in service was never a requirement for adding something to a tech tree; see Rafale additional pylons French do not use.

The reason is simple; if one plane is going to continually make everything else non-competitive then it should be added to other trees. USA exports end up in most trees. Why shouldn’t French exports?

no service - not sure they will ever be for such country - Contracts can be cancelled.

So here it’s different than Prototypes like Yak-141, or additional pylons which are documented systems that could have been used earlier.

Competetive? Competitions organized by Gaijin doesn’t even let any MICA capable aircrafts to be used.
check the latest com about it:

The Indonesian one now that there are Indonesian vehicles in the Japanese TT. They aren’t in service now but will be pretty soon as they’ll probably prioritise sales like they did with Greece., unless Indonesia cancels the order. That may be even preferable to seeing Rafales spread in game.

I guess Italy could use this one.

Give that to USA

Why not?

I’m sure it won’t be the UK mains crying. Maybe France could receive a Qatari Typhoon to compensate that.

You’ll find that pretty much everyone does. Now if you didn’t oversell the Rafale, literally and figuratively, there may be less of an incentive to see it nerfed or shared. Unless it’s some kind of quarantine we’re talking about.

Is that not perhaps evidence of just how crazy OP the MICA EM is even on the Mirages?

the evidence is that no one know how to play against,… but MICA seeker ain’t much better than anyone else (it is, but very slightly different)

but as French main, i now feel out of potential rewards from competition, because it is impossible to enter competition…

and same can be said about EF-2000’s - none are presents

An aircraft that can bleed all its speed…
Guys, I guess the Su-27SM is OP.

Teams that are skilled. [Win rate]
I’ve heard this before with T-80BVM… T-80BVM was never OP.

Rafale is an M1A2 Abrams being played by skilled players. [Metaphor]

Mica has better overload and the acceleration of this missile is stellar as well. You simply have no time to notch it. Especially when you can’t fly 16g turns with op energy retention like Rafale does.

Its an almost undefeatable missile. AIM120 has more range. But seriously, when was the last time a 50, 40 km shot hit the target? Even new players easily dodge long range shots. Its no argument, AIM120 was good as most players had no clue what to do. But now I only use it up to 20km tbh, cause of its low hit chance at medium or longer ranges. MICA is far better, especially since its somehow immune to MP. AIm120 is easy to spoof, unlike MICA…that missile from hell.

Rafale will probably eventually be in both Japan and Britain. Also I swear Indonesia just received their first in service rafale like a month ago, pretty recent

So it would seem… a quick Internet search suggests Indonesia received their first early August and have started training which I suspect was siphoned from the French Air Force’s inventory. So we might see Japanese Rafale in game sooner than I thought

I’m only in favour of a new indonesian rafale to japan, the rest no because they have equally platforms of their own

Japan why not,… but they could get South Korean instead, and recieves KF-21 Boramae, far more interesting aircraft for the future.

also:
F-15K at 14.0, with AESA radar and some different avionics than normal F-15E, giving Air-Ground punch for Japan TT
F/A-50 Block 20 at 13.3, with AESA radar, with the same intent for ground support and air combat, but having reduced speed (similar to JF-17 in that regard)

Indonesia can gives:
Su-27SK & SKM (similar to Russian Su-27SM, but slightly upgraded)
Su-30MK2 (PESA radar)
F-16A/B block 15 OCU (similar Blk10 with TGP hardpoints for TGP pods, and AIM-120’s, old radar AN/APG-66)
F-16C blk 32 (old radar AN/APG-68 - able to use AGM-45 SHRIKE and AGM-88 HARM)
F-15SG (still AESA, but less A2G weapons at disposal)
Rafale F.4 - Still not delivered in Indonesia - Pilots are in basic training at Bordeaux, France

but it seems inappropriate, to add Russian aircraft to Japan TT, as Japan is still in territorial dispute over ownership of the Kurils (since the 1956 peace treaty)

This post was poorly researched and not thought over, please correct your mistakes, and also realise the fact that japan will never recieve a korean subtree ✌️

yeah sure,… think more.
SK can’t enter any nations right now, if not Japan.

Firstly, the F-15SG (with SG abbreviating Singapore) is not in use with the Indonesian air force, and is a different discussion altogether.
The Indonesian flankers are all significantly worse than chinese and russian models found in game, and personally i don’t think they add much to japan.
Indonesian F-16s though would be a welcome addition, and finally allow for more asian representation while still possessing similar tech, some that’s just out of reach.

The meat and potatoes of an Indonesian subtree or microtree (validated through the new Mi-35 in the japanese heli tree, a russian heli btw) would be the brand new Rafale, this can simply be copy and pasted from the french model with appropriate armament changes for the model ordered and now in service with the InAF, the image linked below is a proof of concept that gaijin can use for modelling and livery

There’s also the dispute over Takeshima Islands between SK and Japan, let alone historical rivalries. Much as I want SK in the Japanese TT there would be riots if that happens. Probably greater in magnitude as the backlash against adding VT4 to Thailand.

well its the F3r version, the eurofighter is tranche 4 in game, equivalent to the rafale F4, since both airbus and dassault are working on a tranche 5/F5 version for around 2035. The rafale isnt good enought if we want to speak about irl fact, the probleme isnt the rafale itself, its how gajin balance jet, they can add 5 new accurate change for a jet, and nerf another one at the same time. You are crying about the rafale but you didnt see the spectra systeme, meteor, mica ir or even the smart cruiser missiles (should be on the F5 version but maybe on the F4 before the F5 enter service). Keep some tears guys.
