The accusation is that the British Typhoon has higher statistics than the German/Italian Typhoons because it’s paired with the Rafale. That argument hinges that the Rafale is overperforming statistically better than other planes, so as a result it “carries” other planes with it.
That argument is easily defeated when it’s shown that the British Eurofighter has a higher K/D and KPS than the Rafale itself that is supposedly according to them, carrying the British Eurofighter.
Then argue with the other person that brought up global statistics and not me? I didn’t bring up global statistics.

kind of strange, but i think there is some truth in that the Rafale is stronger than the EFT for ARB, its been by far the meta for a long time now
It’s fine to claim that the Rafale is stronger than EFT for ARB. I have no problem with that argument itself, I have a problem with people using Statshark global stats as its evidence because it doesn’t support what they claim.
It really isnt. The carrying doesnt necessarily have to do with the Rafale performing better (not even mentioning that both Rafales have about 4 times the playrate of the UK Typhoon), simply facing less Rafales compared to its brethren can absolutely be enough to explain the vast difference in statistics.
The Chinese and French Mirage 2000-5 are both very close in K/D and K/S, with a max difference of 0.05. With only a significant difference in winrate, likely indirectly caused by the Rafale.
Now you give one side a plane that is so laughably easy to fly that a 5 year old can do well in it while the other side gets a J-10C and J-15T. Of course one of these playerbases will perform better.
It can’t if people are simultaneously also arguing that WVR performance is what matters more than BVR, so it also does not explain why the AESA UK Eurofighter is doing better than the Rafale despite the long range kits while on the same team as the Rafale.
If anything, the Rafale should still be doing better in K/D and KPS because “BVR doesn’t matter” (their words not mine) while still carrying the British Typhoon.
It should and probably would if the playrates were similar but they arent really atm. The other explanation that UK players are just giga chads really only makes sense in comparison to the German EFT but theres no real explanation why the Italian one would perform a lot worse without matchmaker interference

Well that’s the interesting thing. What happens to the Rafale’s playrate if its playrate was 3x higher, as much as the Su-30SM2? Its statistics would obviously go down quite a bit and wouldn’t be quite the talking point anymore.

Turned out the original poster just needed to learn how to notch, after I sent him a few notching tutorials he started doing just fine in rafale.
It’s what could be said about 90% of people that have problems at top tier
Yeah the stats would probably go down.
Dont get me wrong i think the gap is not that big anymore between the Rafale and the rest and id say if the meta was just a bit less focused on furballs then the Rafale would be way weaker but this thread is giga cope. Of the current 14.7s none need a buff right now

BMPT doesn’t disprove that.
It’s not “the french mains”, it’s just everyone. When the BMPT was added some newbies came crying here that it was unplayable while it was simultaneously absolutely annihilating an entire BR bracket so badly that it broke the matchmaker. Expecting any part of the community to handle not having op vehicles is just unreasonable, you know it.
Every community will have people complaining no matter what
