Not really, they implemented bug reports for many other planes such as Typhoons, F-15s and etc. For example adding dual rack AIM-120s for Typhoons, adding more AIM-120s for F-15s, adding SPICE, and then also added the increased thrust for the Su-30SM/SM2. They also added new engine for J-10C for J-10C as well.
So they’re doing bug reports for J-10C and others but there’s a moratorium for the Rafale.
Only if they add 5th gen at that point, which in theory they won’t

The Rafale got more bug reports fixed in the past year than pretty much all other nation’s top tier aircraft combined (if you dont include the soviets, because well, they also get loads)

Next gen IR should be the one of the next steps yeah, since June usually brings some consistent content, I could see those being added or anti-radiation weapons.
ARM Should definetly be next major update as they said in the Q&A that they would be in the First half of this year. So unless they are delayed, that must mean next update,
Though that wouldnt stop them from adding next gen IR in the same update. But I do wonder if we’ll actually see some form of early ECM, given that there is a bit of an overlap with ARM there.

Jokes aside, compared to back when Rafale and Typhoons were first added to the game right now top tier air is alot more balanced with Typhoons, su30SM2, Rafale, and F15CGE in the air. We don’t talk about J-15T though…
I agree, top tier is a lot more balanced now than in early 2025, I do appreciate having more competition nowadays. I just don’t enjoy the spam of missiles I have to dodge through just because of the 16v16 format in the Rafale after everyone and their mother got 10+ missiles, it would be a lot more enjoyable in even a 8v8 format and the balance would still be there.
