Smin stated that gaijin regards the MICA IR as an ASRAAM alternative and isn’t ready for the game yet and im not sure if magic 2 capability remained this late into development
Admin decided to delete my OP lol. What I was saying is that it is unfair to have to stock grind with just 2 missiles instead of 4 like all the other jets.
Not having any IR missiles results in the stock loadout to only have 2 missiles.
We should have gotten Typhoon Tranche 1s and Rafale M F1 but Gaijin has decided CAS is more important than accuracy so instead we have Typhoons and Rafales with fictional armament
Can someone with access to the dev server post engine stats ?
Max static thrust - 7304kgf per engine, 4983kgf non afterburner
Max mach 1 thrust = ± 10000kgf per engine
Max thrust at wing ripping speeds = 10500kgf per engine
Air superiority/interceptor fighter
Rafale F1 standard infrared Air-to-Air Missile magic II only
Thank you. Are 7304 / 4983 statcard values or tested at 0 speed ?
yes, I rammed the rafale against a building and took the values
This is the way XD , got you TY .
Hey everyone,
The nexter 30 cannon on the rafale is also a problem, wrong fire rate and muzzle velocity currently in the dev, seems like it’s the same gun as the eurocopter cannon.
Sadly, I can’t find a non-wikipedia source backing the numbers to prove anything. Any thoughts?
It should receive Magic 2s as a placeholder IR missile until the MICA IR can be added regardless of whether it could or not, and tbh I suspect it will, like all things test server it is subject to change
I did some research online and found some Facts:
1.) The Rafale C F3 had a PESA and not an AESA as the guys on the devstream said.
2.) Although 6 micas is the usual loadout for the F3 standard, it can carry a maximum 10 if wanted. I have
included a Picture of hardpoints of the F2 standard, where you can see 2 micas on the wingtips, 4 under the wings, 2 in the integrated mica-hardpoints and 2 in the centerline:
3.) Also the Rafale C F3 never carried magic 2’s and was never intended to do so, but theoretically it could
be retrofitted. So adding Magic 2’s is technically possible, though it is a stretch of reality.
4.) In the game the Rafale gets access the DAMOCLES Pod and the GBU 24’s, which were only integrated in the F3.2 standard. So the version is wrong in the game
Oh noo… We can’t do that! hides mig29
Yeah XD, but a maximum of 6 missles in a top tier jet despite it being able to carry 10 irl is a different league…
False Rafale IRL can max out at 8 only after F4.1 standard
Do you have some evidence?
Are you for real? Find me IRL picture of 10 missiles Rafale that is not a mockup. You have to prove things to me not the other way arround.
