Radar missiles too opressive, chaffs don't work,

Incoming Pheonix! Lets see what they do!

The answer was, cut afterburner, couple lazy 3-4G turns mostly staying on course to the base, dropped a few flares (no chaff), crashed into the floor;

So the almost the correct tactics if Aim-54s had an IR seeker :D

Phoenix users don’t want you to know this one simple trick.

Now doing this, this would be truly next level.

While it sucks in the Tornado if you’re bombing, also not being first in the “stack” of friendly aircraft going up the middle helps, it’s not always a 100% guarantee, but can help.

You cant outrun the F-4s, I dont even know if you would outrun the F-111s, So I dont even know why people even try. Last time I took the Tornado Gr1 out into ARB, I just edge skirted, nearly got 2 base kills after they respawned (would have gotten 2 but forgot to change bomb fuse settings and took some splash damage) RTB’ed and could have gotten 2x more base kills if I didnt instead go and gunkill a Mig-21 winning the match (did have a sea harrier helping allowing me to fight the way I needed to fight, but this was pre-FM buff so would probably manage these days)

Yeah that’s what I’d do is just skirt the map, sometimes I try to ram my AIM-9L in people, but most of the time map skirting if you’re bombing is the way to go.

Yep, or play Sim :D Which is what I normally do

I continue to head to my base to bomb it. Anything else would mean another team member will bomb it. They should just nerf Pheonixes and Farkours. Otherwise bombing bases is impossible.

bruh

You don’t try to do anything to dodge a missile, and then complain when you die? Also, don’t bomb bases.

This is just “whatever kills me is OP” but worse

If you are flying the WTD61, then wait 2 days, you wont see them anymore. But…

“I cant defeat these missile by flying in a perfectly straight line therefore nerf them” is just a bad take.

Personally I want MP reduced even further sooner rather than later (and this from someone who plays the Tornado Gr1, the weakest of the 6 Tornado IDSs)

Tornado’s only thing to do is to bomb bases for RP, SL or tasks. When you do the slightest maneuver, the next in the stack will overtake you. You will lose the base. All this nonsene you describe (notching, turn cold etc) simply defeats the purpose. I need to get the base, otherwise the whole plane and match becomes pointless. Thats why these long range radar missiles need to go or there needs to be a more practical mechanic to defeat them. It was perfect as it was, you just had to fly low to avoid radar missiles. You could perfectly take on bases.

Can I suggest you buy the Ju-288C might be more your cup of tea

That still doesn’t change the fact that you can’t complain about something that you are ignoring.

It’s like complaining that a tank flanked you when you just ignored the fact it was there.

No, it needs to be the Tornado. Tornado gameplay is faster paced and you have the chance to kill a second base. But the whole plane won’t work vs. F-14 spams. I paid for it, so I should better work. Its only purpose is to bomb bases in air rb. So this should better be possible. Otherwise selling this thing is a fraud.

Or just take out any prop bomber in sim. It’s relaxing and not difficult.

Air RB isn’t the only gamemode.
