Honestly more loft and less drag is better than nothing
Don’t forget much better maneuverability. Increased AoA, and wing area translates to much smaller turn radius.

But not as A-A missile
Or even SAM
It’s bad for max range but it’s easier on the fin motors and likely provides more AoA. But I’m not sure if they now pull 50G after the recent update, they pulled less than 30G before
