The SM3 is also the upgrade in which the SU-27 received the N011M Bars-R radar set.
if KA-52 can get vikhr at spawn (it can kill planes and tanks dont forget! just like starstreak!) then we can give back startsreak at spawn.
I don’t ever recall the Ka/50/52 being able to first spawn with Vikhers.
BalticSAS is just mad that i complained so much that they removed startsreaks at spawn, they cost spawn points now, because they used to kill T-80s Abrams SPAAs basically anything but 2A7 and at minute 0. It’s basically just like an ATGM without explosives

2019 October when Gaijin added Ka-50 they also made that every helicopter can spawn with ATGMs so there were dozens Ka-50 in tank RB sending vikhr to everyone from 8-10km distance and Germany didn’t had FlaRakRad so basically it turned into Ka-50 vs ADATS i think they fixed in few days what a horrible reaction speed. Those were wierd times but map balancing didn’t change still horrible
Okay? That doesn’t really mean Starstreaks should stay in game though.
Su-27SM3 uses N001VEP, Su-30SM uses N011M.

Technically if you are looking at that pre PESA series of SM3 is would be a N001VE, as the N001VE(P) is the export variant, and the SM3 hasn’t been sold to foreign markets yet. That is why the current radar for the SM in game is not correct (should be the N001VE.)
It is worse in armament than the 9-41S and in systems
Balanced by BR, add both versions on different BRs
“E” is the export variant (even though still used anyway), V(E)P adds new armament (e.g. Kh-31PD, R-77-1) options via FCS upgrade.
