Mirage 4k and F-15A/Js could do with a bump but they would be fine at 13.0 with larger CMs and 6 R-73s
if mig29a has r-73 then f-14b must have aim-9m

Once again no, there’s no reason to make these Mig-29s 13.3 [post-decompression].
Just use the Mig-29G and Mig-29 SMT; they’re both under-BR’d anyway.
And there are other Mig-29s that can be added with R-73s instead of adding AIM-9Ms to F-16As.
There is no need for parity between the F-16A and Mig-29A anymore, they can now be treated as seperate aircraft balance wise.
The removal of the R-27ER and implementation of 4x or 6x R-73/Es to said Mig-29A variants would massively improve their viability since currently they aren’t in a great spot, on top of that the Mig-29G was a mistake on gaijin’s behalf and should’ve been a camo/modification instead of a new vehicle. The SMT on the other hand is a completely different jet and has a far more capable loadout that isn’t complaint worthy in the slightest.
The main take-away from this thread is that no one is satisfied with the R-60M/MK and they are neither suitable or historical for the Mig-29s in game

Then remove the ERs from the Mig-29s and move them to 12.3.
There is zero reason to make Mig-29 9.12 and 9.13 copy-paste loadouts of Mig-29G.
You’re just telling people to never grind the Mig-29G and any future Mig-29s.
Mig-29G couldn’t have been a camo and claiming it’s a mistake is a trash opinion.
ALL Mig-29s in War Thunder are currently historical; claiming otherwise is lying.
Coincidentally all your posts in this topic are anti-player and pro-corporate; saying that a company should spend less money and provide less content… wild.
tbf Mig29G wasnt just a camo because it improved a bit from its predecessor. But I really like the idea of making Mig29G into a modfication of the original. Or even just make it a folded plane, 410,000 RP just sounds a bit to much for me

Foldering would be nice but the extent of the modifications were NATO IFF and Radios put into the cockpit and with a re-lettering to become NATO compatible, more happened to the airframes after the Poles brought them.
yeah may be diffcult to make it into a modification, make it into a folded vehicle would be nice
F-16A is at 12.7 with just 6 AIM-9L. MiG 29 9.12/9.13 will be fine at 12.7 with R-73 and R-27R/T.

No one is asking for this, we are asking for a historical distribution of R-73As to Mig-29As of the 9.12A/B classification, it is unhistorical to feature the R-27ER on export mig-29 variants we currently have in game, and it is not ‘anti-player’ of me to regurgitate a statement that has been made especially regarding the GDR 9.12A in which since it’s addition, people have asked for it to swap ERs for 73s, and you would struggle to find people who disagree with this.
This is false, the GDR did not receive missiles of the R-27T/ET/ER types and R-60MKs were a theoretical option due to them existing in the East German arsenal, however they only flew with R-73Es and R-27Rs
Or comply with the post and give the R-73 to early Mig-29s and remove the R-27ER then you don’t have to touch it at all

R-73s are AIM-9M equivalent, not AIM-9L.
It’d be 13.3 post-decompression.
Mig-29 with R-73s is superior to F-14B and Viggen Di in every way.

It is as historical to feature the R-27ER as it is R-73s, either way R-60Ms are also historical.
Swapping ERs for R-73s makes it 13.3.
GDR is not the manufacturer of the Mig-29.

Can you provide a source that shows the Hungarian and GDR mig-29s using/carrying the R-27ER, i’m curious to know how since every bit of research otherwise suggests this not to be the case

Germany and Hungary aren’t Mig-29 manufacturers either.
Operators don’t dictate what’s historical or not, manufacturers do.
And yes, Mig-29G should be 13.3, and Mig-29SMT should go up to 14.0 with the other 6 missile carriers [and select bad missile buses], with the F-15s, Rafale, Su-27SM, and Typhoon going to 14.3.

Guess i’ll make a list of scrumptious new armaments/avionics I can access due to this logic:
- Mirage 2000-5F/Ei - Recieve MICA IRs upon addition to the game on the Rafale/RMV
- Eurofighter Typhoon (ALL) - Access to both IRIS-T and ASRAAM
- F-15I - All US ordinance options on top of Israeli ones
- F-16C/D Barak II - Same as above
- F-4F (Peace Rhine) - Aim-9Ls
- EF-2000 (DE) - Access to PIRATE IRST
- AH Mk.1 Apache - Access to Brimstones or AGM-114M/MAC
- AH Mk.1 Apache ATAS on top of ATASK mod
- J-11A - Access to Modern Chinese Avionics (as per the 2015 MLU package)

Nope, R-73s are why Mig-29G is its BR, ERs are a sidegrade.
All Mig-29s with R-73s would be the same BR.
Claiming otherwise is obviously unserious and demanding Russian bias.
