Gripen is already the 12.7 for the Hungarian tech tree, they don’t need a 2nd one.
Removing R-27ERs from it while adding R-73s as you suggest still makes the Mig-29 12.7.

The hungarian MiG-29 was 12.0 in DEV and not 12.7 same BR as in current USSR
With no R-73s. Whereas if it had them it would be 12.7.

See the problem is, is that gaijin always goes the lazy route regarding stuff like this and tries to keep all of them as copy-pasta as possible.
I would like it to be different in one way or another, also making them closer to irl Hungarian MiGs, no matter br.
As far as I understand it should have R-73 and R-27R1. Also correct me if I’m wrong, but the radar should be worse. On the other hand Hungarian MiGs were overhauled in Russia in 2000s, so maybe they got some better capabilities or not?
The AV-8B Plus will also receive AIM-120

If they weren’t even willing to give Italy a second F-16, I’m 100% sure a subnation like Hungary will not receive two different MiG-29s.
I hope so, but I have a feeling they are going to snub the Italian ADF and the AV-8B out of the AIM-120 when it’s added. They will probably give it to the Gripen and leave it at that.
If they introduce the variable BR there will be no problems, however I believe that they will still add the AIM-120s to the AV8B regardless of what Gripen can carry.
wouldnt bet on it gettin aim 120. they might want it to stay at its br of 11.7 and those not give it a aim 120 to avoid its br increase. Please always remember only because vehicles used an armament doesnt mean they will get them , look at early mig 29s no R73 or german f4f no aim 9l f104 no aim 9l etc, because they dont fit at the br they want them. And amraams will be to more modern version of aircraft with specific access to them. 12.7 propably might be the minimum they want them to appear at. even then f16c and grippens might further increase in br after they get access to them

U do realize the f4f in game atm never used 9Ls it was the ice variant that did and what f104s exactly used 9Ls besides the asa give proof before you state stuff

I believe if the 9.13, 9.12A and 9.12B were to get the R-73, the R-27ER should be removed from them and replaced with the R-73.

no u are wrong, earlier f4f did use aim 9ls, you mean the IRIS-T, the f4f ice was the only one to use that one. Pls be quiet if you have no idea what u are talking about. Even Gajin themself stated they are aware how the german f4fs did use aim 9ls but arent adding them due to balancing because they want it to stay at that br . Inform yourself before spouting bullshit, this is realy basic information
