Gaijin: “we won’t do +/-0.7 BR or decompression because it could increase queue times!”
Also Gaijin: (it took me 08:04 minutes to get into a game)
Tbf, you’re looking for a game that’s:
- Monday 11:40
- People are working at 11:40 in EU, or are in school, or are sitting around between things to do and posting on forums to kill their boredom (hi)
- In CIS, people are doing the same as EU.
- In NA, people are asleep or just waking up.
- Occasional person with non-standard schedule (Panama schedule, weekend shifts, night shifts) do exist but they’re the minority.
What are you expecting?
… speaking of expecting. Hungarian folk music was unexpected.
I’m genuinely surprised you recognised “hej dunáról fúj a szél”
Comes with being Hungarian raised in Hungary :p.
I work from home. All I have to do is call and place orders with various shipping agencies.
its a joke mate.
Ah, I had no such luxury. I was cursed to be enamoured with Hungary ever since I saw Eva Gabor when I was young. Her voice was what attracted me, and I’ve been stuck on Magyarország since.
Ah, my bad
Yeah pick EU servers since NA Isn’t going to be discovered until after the middle ages. Seen any good executions lately?
Im on cis and eu and it never tool more then 30 sec to fimd a match
Smt its instant
Jokes on you, since I was friends with Norway, I was able to see the American continent. That’s how I have been at war against the Cree despite having zero contact beyond befriending the strongest navy.
In my experience, it takes ages to get into a late-prop/early jet match. Which sort of helps with buying a premium and just completely skipping 7.7-10.7
Oh i must admit i berly play this br cuz i dont like props and more so early jets which are pure pain
I remember it having more time ti find a match but not more then a min and a half
Ig the na servers arent very full
Try playing on cis or eu if u can play with higher ping
I hate early jets too, but I kinda had to play it to spade some props up there. My friends and I do a tournament of:
1 biplane
1 prop
1 early jet (late WW2-Korean War)
1 early modern jet (MiG 21, F4 Phantom, etc)
1 modern jet (Rank VIII)
The rules are simple: you both start off in a biplane, once one of you are eliminated, the eliminated player goes into a prop. Eliminated again, you go into early jet, and so on and so forth. Once you’re eliminated in your top tier jet, you lost.
I usually play Sweden, but I figured I may as well switch it up on them before they get too used to fighting me.
I think part of that is multifold:
- Ju-288 spam for 6-7
- Spawn costs are very high compared to earning potential (Ho 229 costs a whooping 13k in ARB and 17.2k in ASB)
- Compression & Balancing
It’s not as bad in RB as in sim, but even in RB you’re looking at potentially losing a lot of SL if you are bad and it’s a fairly unbalanced BR range in both cases (p51H, BI, Su-11, Mig-15 Bis & F86A5, Saggitario 2, ariete) that’s compressed to hell and back because of missiles above making flareless subsonics impotent.
In air sim, it’s basically impossible to find a competitive and fun lobby between 7.0-9.0 unless you’re lucky or it’s a weekend. Consequently, it’s very popular for zombing.
Well to be fair, there isn’t really anything real good between those ranges. Even if you get a great fighter (MiG 15bis), you are so constantly uptiered that it almost doesn’t matter how good or fun the jet is, when all you do is fight supersonic jets (F-104). Then once you reach 9.3, guess what? A-10 spam. Rank 6 is definitely the worst rank in the entire game.
Such a shame too, because early/WW2 jets and korean gunfighters are some of the wackiest and coolest designs almost reminiscent of the wild west that is early WW2/interwar designs.
