HUD is not equal to cockpit though
HUD is just the small glass panel at the front of the aircraft.

I agree again but i think in 1978 neither had digital cockpits nor digital HUDs.

Not eve F-14 ever had one, unil late 80s.

I dont agree with that usage, but what can i do.

Still, as i said, player ease features that are unrealistic beyond a certain extent are against the idea of simulator battles.
Especially since we can play simulator just as well alveit with more knowledge required without the features that other jets have.

Well you wouldnt beleive it but in my country we were driving donkey carts while america already had the F-104

We were having Migs, now F-16 and soon F-35s, but also donkey carts.
