I have a question about the Ajax and Strf9040C series BRs. Why are they 10.3 if they don’t have ATGMs or unmanned turrets?

At the worst case scenario, specifically Strf 9040C due to the heavier and better armor, would outperform most vehicles of this class and vehicles in general at lower battle rating it eventually faces (e.g. M3A3 Bradley), the 40 mm CTC and 40 mm Akan m/70B performs and would perform much better than any other 30 mm Bushmaster II Mk. 44 platform.
That’s certainly true, but while they have some defensive power, their armor is only strong enough to withstand machine gun fire. Tanks in the same class include the BMP2M, which has a faster-firing gun and anti-tank guided missiles, and the 2s38, which can destroy main battle tanks head-on. So I sometimes wonder if a BR of 10.3 is really enough just to have some defensive power. Additionally, I understand that they have more powerful armament than the Bushmaster, but I feel like the Bushmaster itself is overrated.

Ajax is fine at 10.3. They just need to give it its IRL specs. Missing tons of survivability for example.
When compared to the DW, it blows it completely out the water. Heck Id even say the Ajax is better than the Boxer at the moment

They perform fine when flanking, I wish the 9040c got IRST though
